Powers: Glamour- is the ability to use magic to mask one's true features and make the illusion of looking and feeling and smelling like something other than their true nature. For example...if a human had the ability of glamour they could in fact to others look like an elf or a fairy. Glamour can consist of only changing a few features or to completely changing oneself. It takes a powerful glamour to fool magical folk...Skadi is the most powerful known glamourer in Aersralm. She has gained much control and skill in this ability that it is a matter of visualizing what she wants and becoming it. She has become so skilled that she can glamour other creatures as well. Glamour can also be used to mask objects or surroundings to look or be a certain way.

Control Nature- many think of her as Mother Nature since she is so in tune with the elements of nature that she seemingly can control every aspect of it.

Alchemy- the knowledge of potions, herbs, remedies, of healing or poisoning or enchanting etc.

Enchanting- the ability to charm others to feel a certain way or think a certain thing



Description: Long stark white hair that falls down her back in thick soft waves. She often wears everlasting leaves of auburn and vein like twigs of the darkest midnight wood in that mercury light hair. Her eyes glow white in their natural form...without visible pupils or irises. Often she darkens them with black kohl and wears a crescent moon beneath her right eye. Her features are elegant and often strikes others in a way like enchantment or charm and sometimes fear. Her mouth is full and often darkened in grays and deep midnight colors.

She has a tall lithe frame often draped in cloaks and sometimes leather. Her age is not apparent in her features as she looks youthful and full of life.

Though this enchantress can take on many forms. Her true form they say, has not been seen in a millenia...as she seems constantly laced in magical glamour.

Personality: She has an ageless quality about her. As old as she is...her temperament and personality blends well in any setting, time, or place. She can often be rather reserved and seem like an observer. Though she has a playful quality about her as well that she shares with few. Being as revered and well-known as she is...she tries to keep down to earth.

She has a compelling drive to understand the way things work. She is good at logical analysis, and likes to use it on practical concerns. She typically has strong powers of reasoning, although she is not interested in theories or concepts unless she can see a practical application. She likes to take things apart and see the way they work.

She has an adventuresome spirit. She is attracted to magic, danger, risk, etc. She thrives on action, and is usually fearless. She is fiercely independent, needing to have the space to make her own decisions about her next step. She does not believe in or follow rules and regulations, as this would prohibit her ability to "do her own thing". Her sense of adventure and desire for constant action makes Skadi prone to becoming bored rather quickly.

Skadi is loyal to her causes and beliefs, and is a firm believer that people should be treated with equity and fairness. Although she does not respect the rules of the "System", she follows her own rules and guidelines for behavior faithfully. She will not take part in something that violates her personal laws. Skadi is extremely loyal and faithful to her "brothers".

She likes and needs to spend time alone, because this is when she can sort things out in her mind most clearly. She absorbs large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world, and sorts through those facts, making judgments, when she is alone.

Skadi is an action-oriented person. She likes to be up and about, doing things. She is not the kind of person to sit behind a desk all day and do long-range planning. Adaptable and spontaneous, she responds to what is immediately before her. She usually has strong magical skills, and can be an effective leader. Skadi focuses on details and practical things. She has an excellent sense of expediency and grasp of the details which enables her to make quick, effective decisions.

Skadi avoids making judgments based on personal values - she feels that judgments and decisions should be made impartially, based on the fact.

When she is over-stressed she may exhibit rash emotional outbursts of anger, or on the other extreme may be overwhelmed by emotions and feelings which she feels compelled to share with people (often inappropriately). She is not perfect.

She is excellent in a crisis situation. She is good at following through with a project, and tying up loose ends. She is usually a patient individual, although she may be prone to occasional emotional outbursts due to her inattention to her own feelings.

She has a lot of natural ability which makes her good at many different kinds of things. However, she is happiest when she is centered in action-oriented tasks which require detailed logical analysis and magical skill. She takes pride in her ability to take the next correct step.

Skadi is optimistic, full of good cheer, loyal to her equals, uncomplicated in her desires, generous, trusting and a receptive person who wants no part in confining commitments.

History: Skadi the High Priestess of the Council of Aersralm was born of the Fae. A race even then that was rare. Though they were a fiercely magical immortal race...often revered as the most powerful of all the races of Aersralm...the birth of a child was rare. Most fae were not gifted with fertility or the nature in which to take a mate. Instead, the earth was their lover...the sun their loving warm embrace, the moon their everlasting desire...and the animals their children to nurture. Though it has happened...Fae are known to fall in love with each other or other humanoid...but it is rare that they give into those emotions or desires. With their power comes great responsibility...and often they feel guilty for their own desires...feeling themselves selfish.

A union between two fae created an enchanted child...they named the snow haired baby girl, Skadi. Though the details of their relationship is now only legend and myth...even with the physical being of Skadi as proof...the years and centuries have caused it to grow into merely another elaborate fairy tale told to children at night.

The story goes..."Two creatures of nature...a male of the hottest fires of hell who could weild great disaster and destruction, and a female spirit of the earth met whilst in battle with one another. They were both of the race of Fae. Creatures gifted with great power and cursed with its responsibility. No matter what the fire the male fae had created destroyed...the female earth spirit created a-new. The green of the earth fought against the flames till each of their creaters came together in a rush of vibrant colors. The scope of which was unimaginable. When the battle was finished...a child whose eyes glowed white and hair of the purest snow was cradled in the embrace of leafy branches and flames licked at her skin. While another child would have cried at the pain...instead she only yawned and let both the flame and leaves entangle her lovingly. It was the father fire and the mother earth who were cradling her...neither of which would ever hurt her."

The story of course is embellished and mystified. Her father Enyers was a fae who could wield fire like no other. He was feared and hated for his power. Fire was something that most only felt destroyed and caused pain...Though fire also is a source of warmth and light. Enyers fell hopelessly in love with the fair creature...Andreias...a female fae who's gift was the creation of life...life of the green trees and plants and the life of animals of the wood. At first Andreias hated him as was natural of most who came into contact with the destructive fae Enyers. Although he loved Andreias...her hatred hurt him...and he reacted brashly by destroying a beautiful garden that she had just got done finished the final loving details. She only looked at the devistation with mild shock. It had not accured to her that someone would let their emotions get the best of them. Calmly she let the new fertile soil grow with life...each time...Enyers set those beautiful lillies and wisteria and lilacs on fire...only to have her create more life from seemingly nothing. Upset that she made no attention to his heart renched revenge he came at her...but once he had her in his embrace...he could not let his flames harm her. Instead he enveloped her in warmth and radiance and love...bathing her form in it. Seeing he was not just a destructive force, Andreias fell in love with the complicated creature Enyers. From their union they were gifted with a child. Feeling blessed by the gods they took great care of their fair haired baby girl. She had her father's white hair and glowing white eyes while she had her mother's fair delicate features that could often come off as cold and calculating. She had her father's compulsive emotional outbursts...yet she also wielded her mothers cool serene calm. She was a delicate balance between her two parents. Because of this...she was always a child that strived for the balance between her two worlds. Good and evil only existed because of the other.

As she grew older...she learned to hone her powers. (not yet finished...more coming soon)
