They are not born, but hatched from large eggs. They never age…what they look like from hatching is how they remain for the rest of their lives. They are born knowing…and gain knowledge rather quickly. Their life span is an average of 500 years but are known to live twice that in some cases. This species has a good side and a bad…the good are known as brytes and the bad are known as murks. Murks tend to have scaly skin and bat-like wings…they are also bad-tempered. Elf- A humanoid creature with pointed ears and is able to wield magic naturally. They are normally a bit taller than humans are. They are immortal but can die from serious injury or serious sadness. Elves are wise creatures and can speak telepathically with any intelligent creature.
Human- self-explanatory. May be normal, witch, warlock, or shaman. Most not magical…but some do possess the power and skill.
Gryphondyle- A humanoid creature with an Eagle head, feathered wings, human body, and talons for feet. Their life span is an average of 300 years but can live up to be 500.
Unicorn- it has heavy cloven hooves, and has a single central horn on its forehead. Unicorns are intelligent creatures. Unicorns like to use their horn as a lance when charging the enemy. Unicorns are magical creatures, which tend to dispel magic that is targeted at them. The horn of a Unicorn is said to have great healing powers. They are immortal beings but can be killed.
Dragon- Large reptilian creature with bat-wings that can breath fire.
Fairy- small humanoid creatures with butterfly wings. They often are able to glow in the dark. They are magical beings that can if they wish become the size of a human…but often stay in their small form. Their ages range…depending on the fairy.
Troll- Trolls are not especially intelligent and are often associated with an element. The most common description of Trolls is a tough ugly creature with tough rock like skin. Trolls have the powers to regenerate even if hacked apart. The only way to stop a Troll regenerating is burning the monster. Trolls diet is unusual, as they will eat anything including metal, bone, wood & rocks. The stomachs of trolls contain very powerful digestive acids. This has led Trolls to an unpleasant form of attack of vomiting over their target; this is an extremely painful attack. Sometimes Trolls use basic hand weapons such as clubs or large stones.
Orc- an awful creature. Said to have once been elven in nature but grew twisted and ugly with evil. They have greenish-black leathery skin…jagged teeth often fang like…rather ugly and gruesome
Pegasus- A winged horse.
Mermaid- A humanoid creature with top half human, bottom half fish tail. They live in the water…they have fangs and are carnivorous creatures. They are intelligent but are not really friendly.
Giant Wolfs- Incredibly large wolves the size of horses. They are incredibly intelligent creatures who can speak telepathically to other intelligent creatures.
Elementals-Elementals are magical personification of natural forces. These are alleged to be summoned by a magic user and are able to do their bidding. Sometimes inexperienced magic users are consumed by the element they have summoned and the element escapes and if free to roam. (go to website to see what types of elementals there are)
Necromancers- A Necromancer is an evil wizard who practices in the necromancy. Necromancy is the power over the world of the dead. Their powers enable them to raise corpses from the ground to create armies of Skeletons and Zombies. Necromancers steal the life-force from other living creatures to extent their own and to increase their strength and toughness. Often necromancers are from human stock but this does not rule out other races from practising necromancy.
Winged Wolves- Regular sized wolves with wings. They are similiar to what domesticated dogs are in real life. They are loyal companions of any humanoid race. Man's best friend if ya will with wings. They cannot speak and have no magical abilities.
