Title: forum who delete member's postings

meili80 - July 15, 2006 10:02 AM (GMT)
I have come across a forum who delete member's postings whenever they like and think is a thread to them? Is this a way for such a Forum to survive in Singapore?

I'm still waiting for explanation from the Forum Admin group. Hope to hear from more comments here. Thank you.

Dear Sis Meili,

dont worry too much, personally think that its just a misunderstanding.

try to wait for the explanation, no point doing arguements over such issue.

this will only show that you have narrower thinking than the others.

In Chinese, we have a saying ~ Yi Bu Bian Yin Wan Pian, Bu Dong - Sheng Zhi Yu Dong = let no change due with the changes and No actions taken is better than crude actions taken.

Please bear in mind, we are all here to promote the culture of Taoism.

On ChinaHistoryForum, I sometimes delete posts.

I wait until the topic isn't "hot" anymore, then I start deleting all the posts that have nothing to do with the thread, or I split the thread.

Stuff moderators usually delete:

1. Spam
2. Flaming/Trolling, etc.
3. Posts that look like spam even though it's a reply like only putting " :) "

I've seen some tyrannical mods that start locking threads left and right because the topic is "boring" to them, but we don't have this problem here, CHF, or ChinaRules Forum. :D
