Hi guys,
Why is it that some used black ink to draw on pre-printed tailsman ?
Some used re inl to draw on a blank tailsman with the tua or temple "letter head" cjop on it ?
Does the black ink also has "Zhu Sa" as the red ink used?
I understand lost of time, there is a minor percentage of "zhu sa" in the red ink.
Just want to learn more.....
Thanks

Hi Bro,
usually the black ink that they used to print Hu on yellow papers does not include Zhu Sha (Red Ink) inside. usually only after the printing is completed, on the actual main day, the helpers in the temples or tuas will invite or request the Kis to enhance on the printed Hus by "adding" in their "mystery" hand writing or signature.
one thing that for people usually those bottle black ink, such inks are made using tar (something chemical in petrol, etc), for Toh Taos, please do not advise devotees to drink such Hu Water.
usually for drinking Hu, we will encourage people to go to Chinese Medical Store to get those black ink sticks. in the past, such black ink sticks do include certain chinese medicine to make it black and with a certain nice auroma, etc.

addition point, do not let a devotee drink a Hu which has more than 90% of the surface full with Zhu Sha. Why? cos Zhu Sha contains mercury, long term consuming, the mercury will acumulate in the body and soon, the lung will be contaminated with mercury.
usually old temples and tuas will still prefer Ang Hui Bee (red powder for making cakes).

many people do believe that there are some differences in the usage of the different inks.. but i can say that, the importance of the inks only take up a very little percent out of all.
drawing of a good piece or effective Hus need the support from the Heavenly Masters, the skills of the Ritual Masters and also the energy that the tua or temple have.
if a lousy Master using good materials to draw a Hu, the Hu will stil be a normal piece of paper. whereas, a skillful Master, he just need a piece of rough paper, he will be able to summon all necessary deities and power that he need.

Again, something i dont really understand.
Some they have the pre-printed and during the big day then they invited the god to dot on the hu.
Some of tua, they have blank yellow and green hu paper and when invite God, the god will draw on it..... some is just a stroke and some like signing their signature...
Is the a diff in effectiveness ????
Why some with pre printed and some is blank ???

Pre-print Hus, such practise has being pass-down for generations, this is used for mass production of Hus.
Many people have been questioning on such printing, cos they dont believe in just using a board to print Hus, the Hus will have energy or power to protect, etc.
I can said that is, the mystery and the effectiveness is from the Board. Such boards are made, being blessed and enhanced year and years ago, some at the beginning of the temple or tua, or some are being bring to local from overseas, etc. such Hus can go without anymore enhancing from the deities or Kis, but you shall know, human are strange creatures, they only believe when they see, hear, feel, touch.. so during big celebrations, some temples and tuas will stil invite Kis to enhance the 2nd time on the pre-printed Hus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yellow - normal Hu paper that have been pass-down since dont know how long ago. This is the colour of mystery, royal and power. This colour also represent "recycle", endless, infinite. With such a colour of blessing, the Hus will somehow have gain the natural energy from Mother Nature eventhough it has yet to be enhance by any deities or Kis.
Green - many people have mistaken that such colour only fit the Ghostly Group Deities, but actually not. Such colours can be used during the inviting of certain group of Deities, Generals. When certain cases that needed to be solved urgently and quickly, a Green Hu will be issued.
Such colour Hus can be used to send messages to the Nether-World by Ritual Masters for the communication with the Deities and Spirits down there.
Red - Extremely Urgent Cases or used during "fighting against Huats". Seldom people will used the Red colour Hus for normal cases.
Yes, it depends on the ability of person who made/draw the Talisman. My friend tols a story when his Shixiong help him with a Talisman.
His Shixiong just take a piece of blank paper, fold it, and then give it to him. He even dont give any dot in that piece of paper.
I'm sure He is a person with very high skills. O yeah, His Shixiong are from Wudang Sects.
