This is a good qns. So when the Old Master asking you this qns is to wait for your answer or wanted you to give him a definite answer on the Realms?
Sam Gai - the 3 Realms only can be used in this World, whereas there are more than 3 Realms in the Whole Universe.
Many ppl like to say that 33 Heavens or 36 Heavens, etc.. and actually in EACH individual Heaven, there's these 3 Realms existing.
Till now, no one is able to calculate out the actual number of Universe in the Universe, Heavens in Universe, World in the Heavens, World in the Worlds... so how many Realms are there, is still an Unknown figure.
Just to add on, in the whole Universe, we can only know what we know, but in the Whole Universe, there are more Universe to be found. In each Universe, there are a group of Leading Deities, just like what we have here, now and maybe future.

Hi Geok,
there's no wrong or right answer in saying the both.
till today, us the human can only understand or know that we have been in these 33 or 63 Realms.
For those who have cultivated to a higher level of Strength, they will know there's another world of so and so Realms. This is beyond the human at recent to understand. :P
