Such contexts, we can called them praises to the Deities or chantings that shows how miracle the Deities can be.

In some other religions, they will named them under mantras, which is well-known as a secret set of codes or message for humans to communicate with the Deities.

For such codes, seldom people will translate them as to show respect to the Deities, cos many believe that such mantras or chantings can only be understand while you chant and have the connections with the Deities.

Just something more to add, nowadays, seldom people will use Bao Gao infront of Deities, maybe many people have not been taught of how to use Bao Gao, etc.

Using of Bao Gao is easy and yet not easy. Once u master a certain ways in chanting the Bao Gao, the skill is urs.. :P
