Just curious is there any rules that we need to follow in order to dispose of the book?

There's a few ways of doing that.

1. 1 way i see before is that, the person keep it (almost flooding his cupboard with Tong Shu), actually not advised too, the longer you keep them, the more dusty they can get, not very good for the health.

2. putting under trees. not advisable too, this will create rubbish and also the work load of the cleaner.

3. after changing a new one, burn away the old Tong Shu, using a 1000 Kim to send the book off.

Yes yes. Usually you can go to joss-shop, just tell them that you need a 1000 kim, they wil pass you a stack. :P

Dear Bro,

Not necessary to pick any dates for the disposing of Tong Shu, as long as you dont throw them into dustbin or any "un-pleasant" place.

Usually ppl will tend to dispose them nearer to the date of CNY or after CNY, up to individual :P
