Gui Lin Combined Temple Celebration for Year 2008

Gui Lin Combined Temple located at 397 Bukit Batok West Avenue 8 (S) 658964 will be having a series of celebration for Lunar New Year in 2008, here’s the programmes:

1 – Offering of Incense on Lunar New Year Eve
The Temple will opened 24 Hour on the night for devotees to pay respect to the Deities.

2 – Paying Respect to Wu Zi Year Lord Tai Sui
Starting from 1st Day to 15th Day of Lunar 1 Month. Taoist Priests will be engaged to perform the Ritual.

3 – First Day of Lunar New Year
The Temple will engage Pei Yan Ling Traditional Opera Troupe to put on a few shows.

In the afternoon, 1Pm, Deity of Wealth will be there to distribute Ang Bao to devotees.

4 – Jade Emperor Birthday
On the 9th Day of Lunar 1 Month, the Temple will engage Taoist Priests to pay respect to Jade Emperor, for devotees whom like to join in the Paying Respect Ceremony, devotees can visit the Temple to make registration. Each set of Offering cost S$28.00.

5 – Jing Zhe Day
On the 28th Day of Lunar 1 Month (5 Mar 2008), the Temple will pay respect to Tiger Deity. Taoist Priests will be engaged to perform the Ritual.
