Hi to all.

Here is a link to the website of a temple named Qing Yun Miao.

The main deity, Jiu Shi Ye in the temple is what i find it rare in Singapore.

perhaps, u would like to take a look into the temple and know what are the different deities which the temple delicates to. =D

To Bro REBORN,

There is a temple which is delicated to Zhang Gong Sheng Jun located just beside it. Maybe it might interest you.

One unique feature which i find it interesting about Zhang Gong Sheng Jun(s) in the temple is that He is standing.

Dear Ruihe,

Thanks for sharing with us on the link.

This is a Hokkien Heng Hwa Temple, which usually the Heng Hwa Clan will visit and pay respect to the Deities for blessing.

During their big celebrations, its worth going to observe their way of performing the Ritual, cos till today, the Heng Hwa Clan still perform Rituals/Ceremonies according to Traditional Records, etc.

But one thing in the Website that I needed to comment on.

For Chinese Culture or Taoism Practice, we enter the Temple from the Dragon Gate and Exit from the Tiger Gate, inside the website, it's stated the opposite way, which that practice is only being followed by Buddhist and not Taoist.

Do take note of that.

Dear Lim,

Many thanks for this lead.

Can I have the address? Is this the one at Upper Changi Road or Lorong Ah Soo?

Indeed, status showing Zhang Gong Sheng Jun standing is rare not only in Singapore but in Fujian too. My Grandmaster's status in Yongchun is also a standing pose, quite similar too.

Please do let me know of any other temple you know that have Zhang Gong Sheng Jun.

Most appreciated.

Best Regards.

Hi Shifu,

Yup, i do agree that their way of performing rituals is very unique. i have observed it once when they are celebrating Jiu Huang Da Di's and Jiu Shi Ye's Birthday. The altar which they set up is very simple. The priest just occupy a very small table placed in the temple. But i have no idea whether they are Taoist or Buddhist.

Just by observing the way they decorate their statues, it is seldom seen in Singapore temples. The offerings which they prepare are very simple and yet unique.

With regards to the correct path to enter the temple, i will take note in future. =P

Hi Bro REBORN,

You're welcome. :)

This temple is located at Lorong Ah Soo. If i'm not wrong, it is called "Qing An Jing Combined Temple" on the map. The temple which is delicated to Zhang Gong Sheng Jun is "An Ren Gong". There is a huge standing statue of Zhang Gong Sheng Jun there.

Actually i seldom see temples which are delicated to Zhang Gong Sheng Jun in Singapore. If you are keen in knowing more Zhang Gong Sheng Jun temple, i do know one in Choa Chu Kang which is located very near to Pioneer JC. It's called "Jiu Long Gong". But if you want to locate it on the map, just look for "Choa Chu Kang Combined Temple". i heard that this temple is very popular and the devotees always hold a grand celebration for Him.
