Fu Ling Gong situated at:


is having a 'kai-guang' ceremony for its main Deities, namely Da Pek Gong, Ji Tian Da Sheng (red faced), Xuan Tian Shang Di and Guan Ying Pusa, today, the 2nd Day of the 10th Lunar Month @ 11am sharp. I was very very fortunate to witness this auspicious and historic occassion!

At 11am sharp, the 'kai-guang' ritual officially kick off:

VIPs (sponsors and 2 Datuks) only were allowed into the temple hall. The ceremony Taoist prients were from De Zhen Dao Dang, Muar (their ancestor are from Nam Ann, Fujian):

The ritual starts. In comes the Taoist priests from De Zhen Dao Dang, Muar (their ancestors are from Nam Ann, Fujian).


A prayer before the actual 'kai-guang':


First, Guan Ying's statue was 'dotted'.
The new statue was slowly and carefully unveilled...

The ceremony Master Priest begin to 'kai-guang' the eyes first, at the same time saying auspicious 'slogans'...



Then, ZaiZai and Long Ni was 'dotted':
