Title: Singapore Long Shan Men
javewu - September 18, 2007 10:33 AM (GMT)
9th Day of Lunar 8th Month is consider as an important day for all Long Shan Men disciples.
It's the day of our First Master (Founder) - Lord Long Yi's Enlightenment Day.
During the chaotic period of Tang Dynasty (ending period), Lord Long Yi founded Long Shan Men in-order to assist the refugees to find a place for home and help in calming the mind/soul/physical emotions of all frightening commoners.
After not long of setting-up of his Sect - Long Shan Men, Tang Dynasty fall and from then, Long Shan Men entered a dark-period (hidding from all enemies and attacks from the other invaders), only till Song Dynasty, Long Shan Men started to get into functioning.
Till today, Long Shan Men had passed-down the Leadership to 34 Leaders, the 35th Leader, which is me - Jave, still trying my best to promote the Culture of Taoism and the Culture of assisting people when they are in need (Spirit of Long Shan Men).
Hope that my Ancestor - Lord Zhen Yi in the Eastern Palace can blessed on us, blessed on us to complete our Tasks and keep the Culture of Taoism going.

Dear All,
Just a quick sharing on our Long Shan Men Spiritual Registration for
the students/disciples.
Yesterday, 15th of Lunar 10 Month aka Xia Yuan Jie, which is consider
as an important day in Taoism and also one of the very few days for
Taoists to register as Formal Taoist or Disciples of a Sect, our Long
Shan Men did that too on this day according to our traditional
teachings from our Ancestors.
A simple paying respect to Dou Mu, Jiu Huang Da Di and Nan Bei Dou
Xing Jun was being held at Telok Blangah Jade Emperor Temple at 1 Pm
and the sending off of Spiritual Petition for the Registration was
done at 5 Pm and all students were being officially resgistered as
Disciples of Long Shan Men & Long Shan Men Taoist Group - soon they
will be starting their training on Spiritual Skills and correct Taoist
Culture.
On that very night, a few of the students were being given signals
from Heaven and our Ancestors, which are good signs for them.
Now, we will try our very best to promote the Culture of Taoism and
Long Shan Men in Singapore, and also, look forward for the next
registration in year 2008.

javewu - February 27, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
Dear All,
Due to tight schedule on preparation for the 15th Day & Ritual on last Sunday, only now, then I can do my simple review on the last Spiritual Registration for Long Shan Men students.
On the 15th Day, 8 Long Shan Men students were being registered Spiritually under the Supervision and Witness by Dou Mu Yuan Jun, Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun, Nine Emperors, San Guan Da Di and of cos, the founder of Long Shan Men – Lord Long Yi aka Long Yi Zhen Jun. 2 of the students are being registered as Senior Level Elder – under the name of my Late-Master - Master Ding Gui, which is the 35th Generation and the rest, the students of the 36th Generation.
On that early morning, one of the Senior Level student arrived at the Temple with me to pay our respect to Jade Emperor, Dou Mu Yuan Jun and other Deities, during the paying respect to these Deities, San Guan Da Di were also being called upon, cos on that very day, which was the Day that considered as the Manifestation Day of Tian Guan Da Di.
After All the related Deities were being called upon, a short reporting was being made and soon after the report was made, Dou Mu Yuan Jun and other Deities were being invited to be the witnesses for this Spiritual Registration.
While the invitation was being done, something Spiritual happened (I think only me felt that, dont know whether my classmate felt that too), the energy that Dou Mu Yuan Jun had, emitted out from the Altar which showed Sparking Brightness with some light Purple Rays. This was indeed something that I didnt expect and so, I was shocked and delighted.
Soon after the reporting, my classmate and I were invited to have the vegetarian meal in the Temple. During the meal in the Temple, we had some good chats with the Aunties that came to pay respect to the Deities.
After the meal, both of us went to do the sending-off of the paper-offerings, after the huge quantity of paper-offerings being set-up in the burning area, a Spiritual Fire was being lighted. During the burning, both of us were there to observe the burning and yes, indeed the things that I expected happened, which meant that, the Spiritual Registration was being done successfully.
Soon the fire started to tame-down and so, we left the Temple very soon after around round of chit-chatting and paying respect.
Only then, one of the 36th Generation students arrived (which is 2 hours later). After he arrived, we proceeded to Xuan Jian Dian to do our paying respect.
After Xuan Jian Dian, my classmate had to make his leave and so, I brought the student to Bao Chi Gong, located at Magazine Road, to pay our respect. Due to its 15th Day, quite a number of devotees were there and vegetarian food was being prepared for the devotees.
Spending about an Hour inside the Temple doing paying respect to the Deities, we left the Temple and called it a day.

In the link above, you will see photos of the Ritual that conducted at one of the Taoist's Home for the Manifestation Anniversary aka Birthday of Guan Yin by Long Shan Taoist Group.
The Ritual started at 1.30Pm and ended at about 2.30Pm, it took about an Hour to conduct the invitation, chanting, Birthday Respect and last, sending-off.
Even thou this is a simple & short Ritual, but the Deities that are invitated/involved are happy.
Will see the Guan Yin on the Lunar 6 Month again - upon Request and Appointed by the Guan Yin.
All the Best & Good Luck to the Family & Friends.

Paying Respect to Lord Bei Dou on the 7th Day of Lunar 3 Month
Yesterday, the 7th Day of Lunar 3 Month (12 Apr 2008), was consider as the Day of Lord Bei Dou descending to the Mortal World to do inspection and also to perform the distribution of Blessings to the granted Mortals.
Again, me, my classmate from UK and 3 of my students (2 Registered and 1 on the list of next Registration) joined me for the Paying of Respect to Lord Bei Dou in Telok Blangah Tee Kong Temple.
Even though the rain was heavy, everyone seems to be very anxious and enthusiatic in doing the honouring, before 1100 Am, 3 of the students were there waiting for me and my classmate's arrival.
Upon arriving at the Telok Blangah, the rain got heavier and so, we had to hide inside one of the coffeeshop nearby to chit chat, etc.
In-order not to have any further delay in the honouring, we dediced to dash thru the rain to the Temple. By the time we reached the Temple, most of us were soaked, but, we still felt good and happy.
After placing the necessary items on the Altar that dedicated to Dou Mu Yuan Jun, Jiu Huang Da Di and Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun, we went round the Temple to pay respect to Heaven, Yu Huang Da Tian Zun and other Deities and last, to the altar of Dou Mu Yuan Jun.
Just before we start the Honouring, again, a Spark float infront of the Altar, due to its a very fade Spark, I'm not sure of how many people had saw that. Anyway, this is the signal from the Deities to announce to us that they were around to hear the requesting and received the Honouring.
After about 1 hour of honouring, it was time for us to send off the Incense-papers and so, the 3 students were being appointd to do the sending off, hoping that, by allowing them to do the sending-off, they will blessed with the Fortune and Wealth Luck.
Just after the sending off of the Incense-paper, the rain stopped. This really showed Good Sign on the Honourng and so, happily we proceeded to what we should do on that afternoon.
PS: Students of Philippine Long Shan Men also performed the Ritual to honour Dou Mu, Dou Fu and Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun.
