Dear All,
It's the time of the year again. Devotees will be flocking to Kusu Island for its annual 9th Lunar Month Festival. In the traditional belief, devotees going to the island should not take pork. (^^)
Why? Because it has become a tradition that devotees will pay respects to Tua Pek Kong and the Keramat on top of the hill-lock.
So, thanks to Siong Leng Musical Association for extending this opportunity to us, this is a private visit to Kusu Island
On Sat 27 Oct 07 (9M17)
@ 5.30pm (meeting at Marina South Pier)
A simple vegetarian packet dinner will be served. There will be a performance by Siong Leng (NanYin music and songs, and maybe, opera) for Tua Pek Kong and the resident Deities.
Cost: S$20 (ex Marina South Pier)
