Three main form of "offending" Tai Sui
How to find out?
The 60 Tai sui(s) are 60 celestial Star deities. In Chinese metaphysics, the 10 Heavenly Stems combined with the 12 Earth Branches formed the 60 celestial Stars (with one different Deities on duty each year), determined by the year and month of birth. In Chinese culture, these 60 Tai sui are now part of their lifespan yearly guidance. Thus it also used to foresee one’s future as well.

In traditional Chinese culture, these are considered as protective Deities that are on duty on each different year. Each Tai sui also represents each Chinese zodiac ‘Animal’ (or horoscope star). Thus each year, each person will ‘(i) Conflict’, ‘(ii) Clashes’ and ‘ (iii) Causing Hurt’ with that year’ Tai sui.

(i) Conflict with Tai sui:
A person’s Earth Branch (based on the month of birth), will determine ‘conflict’ with the year Tai sui. So, if one is born in the year of the Cow will ‘conflict’ with the Tai sui in charge of the Cow’s year (1925, 1985, 2045…. (+60). Thus, every twelve year will complete one circle. Chinese believed that one’s fortune/fate will change every twelve years.
This form of ‘Conflict with Tai sui’ is not the most harmful form. One will faced with much problematic issues and uneasiness but not serious. For those who ‘conflict’ with Tai sui must pray to Him for blessings.

(ii) Clashes with Tai sui:
“Clashes” refer to the six clashes of the Earth Braches, namely;
Ji (Rat) against Wu (Horse)
Chou (Cow) against Wei (Goat)
Yin (Tiger) against Shen (Monkey)
Mao (Rabbit) against You (Roost)
Chen (Dragon) against Xu (Dog)
Si (Snake) against Hai (Pig)

(iii) Causing Hurt:
“Causing Hurt” with Tai sui will see one involved in small talk/gossibs, legal problems and meeting with lots of troubles makers and involved in many disputes and arguments. Therefore, do not dismiss such “causing hurt” with Tai sui. This is the most serious form of offending Tai sui.
