Hi folks,

Thanks for the well-wishes and to those who came along to the party, thanks for coming. To those who have missed, well, there's the next year. (^^) Another wonderful evening has been spent chatting, and with our Baba-Hunk from Malaysia, there were cross-border discussions on how the sintua traditions and customs have differed over the years.

Members at the party were: Su Yin, Joyce, Wee Cheng, Doris, Nicki, Nicole, CW, George, Jave, Aaron, Tim, Gilles, Chay Tiong, Ivy, Diana, Geraldene, Eugene, Ai Lin and of course, me. (^^)

And if there had been a best dressed contest, it must go to Gilles, who was dressed for the occasion. Alamak, we are felt under-dressed la. So, maybe, the next time, we will come in dragon Pao! (^^)

Thanks to Su Yin, we have another cake for another year, beautifully designed, and thanks to Jave, this year, we even have a guest page for all members to sign in.

After almost a five hour marathon, putting Kings Copthorne's Princess Terrace under severe stress in topping up their supplies, from Ark-bak-mee- sua to Penang Laksa to Tu-Tor-Thng to rojak to angkukueh, and lost more, we decided we had better cabut (run) before we really got booted out. (^^) What a sign of relief it must have been to the people there (^^) as we had literally made the place like our private room. (^^) But of course, the service was great and they were friendly, thanks to Su Yin - kaki lang la. (^^)

It looks like it could well be a tradition as we dropped by Po Chiak Keng to pay our respects to Kai Zhang Sheng Wang, the patron saint of the Tan (Chen) Clan at Magazine Rd. And soon, we could well be adopting the ginger cat there too. (^^) Chay Tiong and Eugene tried their luck at getting the Kai Zhang Sheng Wang po-sin-hu (protection talisma) and presto, the first throw of the divining blocks was affirmative in both cases.

And so, another year's milestone has been completed and yet another year begins, perhaps in more earnest as our search for the WAY intensifies. (^^)
