Xuan Shan Miao Jiu Shi Tan, established in the year 1956, the old temple was located at Mandai Rd 13.5 Hectars (Chap San Phua Khor Chio), Lor 16 Village.
In the past, the temple was known as "Xuan Tian Miao".
This temple was built to dedicate to Xuan Tian Shang Di (hkk: Shiong Teh Kong).
Due to the lack-of-maintainace, in year 1975, the temple had to shift to one of the temple member's home, in-order to allow the temple to undergo renovation.
In year 1976, after the renovation, the temple shifted back and from then, the temple changed it's name to "Xuan Shan Miao".
In year 1983, "Jiu Shi Tan (hkk: Kiew Shay Tua)" came to joint-in with "Xuan Shan Miao" and later, they combined the name for the temple to "Xuan Shan Miao Jiu Shi Tan" (Jiu Shi Tan, a temple dedicated to Guan Gong and Da Er Ye Bo).
In year 1991, after receiving official notice from the Government Bodies, the temples would had to shift to another location.
In year 1992, a plot of land, at Woodlands Industrial Park E4, was allocated to the temple (together with "Tian Xian Combined Temple') for re-constructing of new temple.
After 4 years of construction, in year 1998 (16 of Lunar 3 Month), the temple officially opened for devotees to pay-respect to the Deities.
