Yes, they do have a hierarchy chart in the Taoism Deities "Office".

But i can say that, different Sects will have their own arranging of Deities (by ranking).

I have compare like Liu Ren Sect with Normal folk's culture, there's a bit of different as they believe that the Main Key person in the highest rank is of another Deity.

If you will to consider Yi Guan Dao into the big Religion family, they will have another set of chart showing the ranking.

yes there is hierachy in heaven and it is depicted in a heavenly pantheon, the tibetans tangkas(paintings) have them. there are also like us in a way. some deities have cultivated more and higher in ranking than others. thats why in a temple, the deities of higher ranking is placed on the left hand side of the main temple deity and the lower ones on the right. if we see on our side, the higher ranking ones are on our right and the lower ones, left. for us as well, some people are born poor and some rich, it is strongly dependant on our past cultivation and karma. pls correct me if i am wrong

Hierarchy in our Taoism beliefs are according to the self-cultivation of individual deity, following by the masters they respect to, then the Sects they are in and also the merits that they have "earned".

In other sayings, people of certain Sects dont believe in the ranking of Deities 'cos they believe that Deities are in no forms, so no point of fighting for names, ranks, etc...
