Dear All
The Dao Yin Altar (道音坛) will be conducting a ritual in conjunction with the birthday celebration of Taishang Laojun (太上老君).
The event will be hosted by taiwan trained Zhengyi Daoist Master Chen Luofa and co-hosted by Huang Luoda and Li Luoming.
Venue: Blk 405 Choa Chu Kang
Time : 9am to 5pm
Date : 25 March 2007 (Sunday)

Today, have the honor to witness a rare Taoist rituals by a group of orthodox Zheng Yi Taoist Masters performing this special (Taiwan style) rituals.

Notice the special Taoist robes? Note the center master's shoes!

The main Altar - a typical Zheng Yi's setup. Notice the beautiful side scrolls?


FaZhu Gong (Three brothers controlling the Wu Tong Qui) - a rare and beautiful paintings.

Need no introduction - The Three Exalted One, Tai Qing, Yu Qing and Shang Qing.

WOW! Something special here - Orleng ki! A rare masterpiece! Bet you never see this type of powerful orleng ki! Hand drawn by Master Tan Hock Chai!

What so special? The vegetables and the eggs. Master Tan explained that the veg are for the heavenly turtle and the eggs are for the heavenly snake (two of the four celestial 'animals' that controls the four corners of the world. )

One 'Tou Ding' for each sponsor - to blessed all the supporter individually.

Master Tan in total concentration. This is the most important part of the whole rituals.
