In here, I will like to introduce some local Deities (known as Datok or Natok in Singapore) that found in Taiwan.

Such Deities (Spirits) were famous or well-known characters in the past in that area. After they passed-on, people worshipped them as "Deities" in-order to memory them and also to continue their culture or believes in doing charity, helping the needys or brave in certain aspects.

臺南南鯤身鎮海大將軍 (Tainan Province Southern Kun Shen, General of Inspecting the Sea)

職責：守護一方百姓及鎮住一方水族幽魂

Role: To protect the people living in the area and also to look after spirits (mortals died in the sea) from disturbing the mortals.



水流公（水路孤魂） (Tablet for the death - died in water)

南靈軍鎮 (Flag to summon Armies for the Northern Area)

職責：召集一方陰靈軍魂

Role: To summon Spirits from all around the area to form Spiritual Army troops.

有應公媽 (Local "Deities" of an area)

職責：保佑一方人們

Role: Provide necessary blessings to the people staying around in the area (same "functions as Datok/Natoh worshipping in Spore")
