General Yang Si, born in Ming Dynasty (明永樂), Yong Le Period (AD1403) on the 6 day of Lunar 6 month (六月初六).

Hometown in He Nan Province (河南).

At the age of 20, General Yang Si attained Immortal-hood and being summoned back to Celestial Palace.

During his stay in the mortal world, General Yang Si assisted Ming Yong Le Emperor to prevent all water disasters, after successfully completed the task, he was bestowed with official title “Ping Lang Zhen Dong Hou (平浪鎮東侯)” (translated as Duke of Controling Waves) .

After General Yang Si being summoned back to Celestial Palace, mortals worshipped him as the Deity of Water – In-charge of all water movements.

In the past, when people suffered from flu, cold or fever, they were worshipped General Yang Si for recovering blessing.

Statue features of General Yang Si: Left hand holding on to a dragon and right hand holding to an axe (左手青龍,右手金斧).
