Here's the introduction on how to worship Qi Xian Nv during Qi Qiao Jie (7th day of the 7th Lunar Month)

Qi Qiao Jie is a day to memory Niu Lang and Zhi Nv (the cowherd & the weaven maid).

Qi Qiao Jie, on the 7th day of the Lunar 7th Month, this day, nothing to associate with the Ghost Festival.

In folks beliefs, people will consider this day as the Oriental Valentines' Day for couples.

So how do we pay our respect to the 7 Fairies? Here's the introduction on the items and steps,

Items needed:

1) Candles and Joss
2) Flowers (fresh)
3) Fruits
4) Rice and dishes
5) Cosmetics (for human used)
6) Needles, threads, etc
7) Joss-papers and 7 colours joss-paper

Steps:

1) Place all the necessary items on an altar (outdoor)
2) Once the moon appear in the sky, praying ritual starts
3) Take turns to pray (make personal request) to the Zhi Nv or 7 Fairies
4) After all ladies pay their respect, offer the joss-papers
5) Ritual end

Usually only the ladies will do they praying to the Qi Xian Nv.

Qi Qiao Jie is coming.

Dont forget to observe this traditional culture being practised by the old Ah Ma of Cantonese Clan.

Try going around streets in Chinatown, maybe you will see some altars dedicated for the worshipping.
