As part of Worthy Tour Co (S) Pte Ltd currently showing at City Hall for Singapore Biennale 2006, Amanda Heng has organised a public forum to discuss the significance of Singapore’s cultural heritage. Reflecting on Singapore’s migrant history and its economic success, speakers will exchange their views on topics related to cultural loss and its impacts, as well as the preservation of cultural memory through the rediscovery of historical artifacts found without of Singapore. Through this forum, the artist hopes to provide the public with a platform for voicing the concerns related to the discussion topics.
