Esplanade Singapore is organising a celebration for this coming Mid-Autumn Festival.
The Organisation has invited the famous Hokkien Opera Troupe - Tang Mei Yun Taiwanese Opera Company to Singapore to perform 2 different titles of Opera for the fans.

The Princess and The Hunter (龙凤情缘)

10 月 5 – 6 日, 星期四至五：晚上 8 时
Seeking freedom from a cloistered life in the palace, Princess Lingfeng leaves to experience life in the world outside, disguised as a man. She falls in love with a hunter, Ou Chinglung, who discovers that she is a woman only after she leaves without saying goodbye. Hoping to meet her again, Ou attends the imperial martial arts examination and wins the championship after saving the Emperor's and Empress' lives at the test grounds. When the Emperor passes an imperial order for Ou to marry Princess Lingfeng as a reward for his heroic deed, both the Princess and Ou are distressed by the edict as neither knows the other's real identity.

Zhi-Kuan loves his wife Yuh-Lian very much but his mother wants him to divorce Yuh-Lian if she cannot bear her a grandchild soon. Out of desperation, Zhi-Kuan steals a baby from a blind and mute couple outside a temple one day with the intention of bringing the baby up as his own child.
Will he be able to hide the truth from his mother? Will he be able to ignore his pangs of conscience? Will the blind and mute couple be reunited with their child eventually?
