Some Dos & Don’ts on the placing of Mirrors at Home:

镜照睡床 (Mirror facing bed)

人在睡觉时，是最放松、最没有戒心的时候，所以如果半夜起来被镜中的自己吓到，是会伤到元神的。另外，镜子照床也容易让夫妇常翻脸，助长另一半常常外遇的可能性。

Sleeping is a form of relaxation action for humans to release stresses from their body. Placing a mirror in-front or on top of the bed will somehow increase the stress or pressure percentage to a person, Reason: While a person wake up at night with a yet-to-clear-mind, the person’s emotion will somehow be affected by the reflection on the mirror.

镜照房门 (Mirror facing Bedroom door)

镜子不能对着房间门，因为镜有镜神。容易有卡阴的状况。

Never placed a mirror that is directly facing a bedroom door (or any doors), this will show dis-respect to the Deities that are guarding the house. With such issues occurred, the members staying in the house will tend to have more choices on meeting with strange encounters.

镜照大门 (Mirror facing the main entrance)

大门的正前方，千万不可放镜子，这会让门神和财神一起被镜神吓跑，是阻挡财神之意。另外如果是你是生意人，则会导到事业不顺，金钱超贷。

Almost the same reason as above, but in additional, luck of fortune will tend to drop for the members living in such a unit.

镜照炉灶 (Mirror facing Stove)

这种情况会产生镜神和灶神对冲，因此容易让家中的成员身体出现病痛，女性易有妇女病，男性则常会莫名的拳脚打}对待老婆。

This will tend to increase the choices of getting sick for the members living in the house, especially females. In Feng Shui Study, stove in certain ways represent the female owner and occupants of one unit, if the stove is being “disturb” in certain spiritual way, the females will also be affected.

镜照神明 (Mirror facing Deities)

镜子如正对神明桌，不仅对神明大不敬，还会造成不好的冲煞，让原本驻在家中保佑你们的神明，因镜子产生的冲气而离开。

This is a form of dis-respect to the Deities. Due to the energy of the reflection, the Deities that are invited to the house will leave in no time, leaving an empty statues. This will cause very bad energy in the unit causing un-necessary issues happening.

镜照书桌 (Mirror facing study table)

镜子容易让书房内读书的人分心，另外，主宰文昌的文昌帝君也不喜欢小孩一边看镜子一边读书。

This will tend to cause disturbance to the students who sit at the table doing study.

镜摆财位 (Mirror placed on the Fortune Position in a house)

客厅内财位不可摆镜子，才不会让财神因镜神而被反射走，一般来说，客厅的财位是大门进来的左右对角处。

Where is the Fortune Position in a house? Usually is at the diagonal corner from the main entrance. Such corners are not supposed to have any mirror being placed at there. Reason: the luck of wealth and fortune will somehow be reflected out from the unit.

镜照厕所门 (Mirror facing Toilets)

镜子面对厕所门，会让夫妇在处理事情时钻牛角尖，并且让家中的男性性功能减弱，女性则易有妇女病。

This will tend to increase the percentage of misunderstandings and conflicts between a couple living in the unit.

Female will tend to have more sickness whereas male will have a drop in their sexual performance.

For mirror facing bed, you can cover the mirror with a red cloth when you are going to bed.

For mirror facing the main entrance, it will be fine if there is a wall too close to the main entrance.
