第一世演出「孟姜女與萬杞梁」的故事。
敘述秦朝時代萬杞良被差官抓去萬里長城，卻在命運巧妙的安排下，來到孟家花園邂逅了孟姜女，展開他們之間那段迴腸盪氣的姻緣。
The 1st Couple – Meng Jiang Nv & Wan Qi Liang
Meng Jiang Nv was borned in the QinDynasty. Just the day before Meng Jiang Nv married to Wan Qi Liang, he was being summoned by the Qin Imperial Court to build the Great Wall of China. Without any rejection ability, Wan Qi Liang had to follow the Armies to the construction site.
After getting the news, Meng Jiang Nv was shocked and upset. After a period, Meng Jiang Nv decided to visit the construction site to look for her husband. After reaching the site, she got the news of the death of her husband. She collapsed upon hearing the news.
She requested the in-charge to bring her to the place where her husband buried. Upon reaching the place, she sobbed loudly. Her sobbing touches the Heaven, Hell and all beings around the area. To assist her from seeing her husband the last time, Heavenly Deities break the Great Wall up and showing her husband’s corpse. (This is the famous story of “Great Wall Collapsed Upon Tears of Meng Jiang Nv”).

第二世乃描述梁山伯與祝英台動人的愛情悲劇。
The 2nd Couple – Liang Shan Bo & Zhu Ying Tai (The Butterfly Lovers)
This story happened in Zhou Dynasty.
Liang Shan Bo, a poor young man who is quite knowledgable and honest. While he was having his academic study in Ni Shan (Mt Ni Institution), he met this young little chap named Zhu Ying Tai.
After being together for 3 years, Zhu Ying Tai decided to go back home to visit her parent. On the night before Ying Tai left the Instituion, Ying Tai advised Shan Bo to visit “her” at the home. Shan Bo agreed. Upon agreement, Ying Tai passed Shan Bo a butterfly couplet, which indicate that, Ying Tai willingly married “her sister” to Shan Bo (which actually is herself).
Immediately after Ying Tai left for home, their Teacher’s wife approached Shan Bo, telling him that Ying Tai was actually a young lady who was admiring Shan Bo since the day they met.
Shan Bo was shocked and delighted to get the news. Without resigning from his Teacher, he went to Ying Tai’s hometown to look for her.
After reaching Ying Tai’s place, Ying Tai told Shan Bo that she was being forced to marry Ma Wen Cai, a gangster in her hometown, Shan Bo was totally upset upon the news.
Shan Bo leave her place immediately after getting the news, After reaching home, Shan Bo get too upset and soon, Shan Bo pass-away due to over-coughing of blood.
On the day of Ying Tai’s marriage, Ying Tai requested to visit the grave of Shan Bo 1st before going to Ma family. Upon arrival, Ying Tai took off all the marriage clothing and dashed towards the tomb of Shan Bo. Suddenly, the tomb split open, without a second thought, Ying Tai jumped into the tomb. Tomb Closed.
Within seconds, two butterflies flew out of the tomb. Slowly fly towards the Heaven. (This is the famous story of “Transforming to Butterfly ‘Hua Die’ ”)

第三世是唐朝「賣胭脂」的故事。
郭華郎和王月英兩人在路邊和關音廟中偶然地邂逅，兩地的相思更加深彼此的真情；但
兩人的愛情卻遭遇到了阻礙，他們一方有黃十郎，另一方有柳元元的纏繞，加以錢媒婆
、毛鬍子和他太太從中破壞，前途並不樂觀，而最「悲觀」的是華郎和月英數次的約會
，竟無一次圓滿的結果，他們悲劇的產生是在第三次的幽會中，也許是陰錯陽差，但卻
是天意的安排，他們沒有見面，並雙雙悒鬱而終。
The 3rd Couple – Guo Hua Lang & Wang Yue Ying
This happen in the Tang Dynasty.
Guo Hua Lang and Wang Yue Ying met in one of the Temple one day. After the meeting, both of them will deeply attracted by each other.
Since after the meeting, the both of them were wishing for the next meeting, but due to many unforeseen issues, their meetings will obstructed. Due to marriage making, the both of them will have to marry according to the agreements.
Both of them decided to meet up for the last time, but again, the meeting failed.
After returning home, Guo Hua Lang and Wang Yue Ying fallen sick. As day went by, their sickness get worsen. Finally, one day, both of them pass-away.
Till end, both of them didn’t get to see each other again.

第四世是「王十朋與錢玉蓮」的故事。
王十朋與錢玉蓮自小經雙方父母指腹聯婚。 玉蓮的母親離開人世後，其父再娶的繼母
卻使玉蓮開始了悲慘的命運；她飽受虐待，終於自盡，等到十朋聞訊而去時，佳人已香
消玉殞予於是十朋病倒，他們在受不了天上人間的「兩地」相思後，十朋也離開了人世。
The 4th Couple – Wang Shi Peng & Qian Yu Lian
This story happened in Song Dynasty.
Wang Shi Peng and Qian Yu Lian were being match-made since young. After Yu Lian’s mother pass-away, her father married a 2nd wife. This 2nd wife was very cruel who would bullied the little young lady whenever she felt unhappy or so.
One day, while Yu Lian’s father was away, the step-mother start to bully the poor young lady again. Being tolerated for so many years, Yu Lian finally collapsed. On that very day, she committed suicide.
Without knowing that Yu Lian had died, Shi Peng came to look for her. Upon hearing the news, Shi Peng was totally shocked and upset. After returning home, Shi Peng started to get sick. Within a short period, he was also died due to over-sadness.

第五世乃商琳與秦雪梅的故事。
明朝的秦太師與商定國原稱莫逆，將幼子相結親。但因商定國告老回家，連遭天炎而一
無所有後，將商琳邁往秦家讀書，但因商琳與秦雪梅的結識，商琳乃無心人念書，甚至
得病，秦家即打發商琳回家，原來秦太師見商家貧寒已有毀婚之意。商定國前去秦家求
親卻為太師所拒，商琳害病更重，病中，商家將丫頭愛玉許佩給商琳，而生了商輅。
愛玉授命偽裝雪梅嫁給商琳，而後和雪梅一起含辛茹苦教養商輅，亦極偉大，也表現了
雪梅貞節情操。
The 5th Couple – Shang Lin & Qin Xue Mei
This story happened in Ming Dynasty.
Xue Mei’s father, Minister, and Shang Lin’s father, richman, were good buddies while young. They agreed on match-making their son and daughter.
One day, some disasters fall onto Shang’s family. They went bankrupt in a night. Since the 2 old Misters had agreement, Shang’s decided to send his son, Shang Lin over to Qin’s place for education and also for future marriage.
Upon reaching Qin’s place, Shang Lin fallen sick, which last a very long period. Qin was not very happy and decided to chase him back and dis-agreed on the match-made, that had made many years back. Shang Lin was upset and with no further assistance, he had to leave the place.
After reaching his own place, Shang Lin’s parent afraid that he might too upset over the incident, they decided to use the maid Ai Yu to replace Xue Mei to marry to Shang Lin. But on the 2nd day of the marriage, after Shang Lin woke up, he realized that his wife was not Xue Mei, immediately, he coughed blood and died.
As courtesy, Shang’s parent informed Qin. Qin ignored the notice. Xue Mei was upset and angry with what her father had done, so she decided to go over to Shang’s place and mourned for him. Her father disagreed, but Xue Mei insisted.
Upon reaching Shang’s place, Xue Mei took off the normal clothing and changed to a “wife” mourning clothing. Her mother was surprised and insist that she had to take them off. Xue Mei disapproved and advised her mother to leave and she will be staying in Shang’s place forever as a widow. Her mother was shocked and without any ideas, she had to leave.
After the funeral, Xue Mei stay at Shang’s family, treating the parent like her parent-in-law. After 10 months, Ai Yu gave birth to a little boy, they named him Shang Luo.
With the assistance of Xue Mei, Shang Luo get into the Imperial Examination and got a rank of Zhuang Yuan (top scholar).

第六世乃韋燕春與買玉珍的故事。
韋燕春和買玉珍，這一對金童玉女的化身，相約在橋畔見面。燕春乘著月色，悄悄來到
藍橋只見月色姣好，緣水長流，但突然間烏雲密佈、狂風怒起，大雨傾盆而下，就這樣
燕春被大水淹死了，頓時風退雨止，車輪明月復現，玉珍趕來見狀而一同殉情死去，其
幽怨柔美可想而知。
The 6th Couple – Wei Yan Chun & Jia Yu Zhen
This story happen in Ming Dynasty.
Upon the 1st meeting, Wei and Jia were deeply attracted to each other. From then, the both of them will arranged for a meet-up whenever they can.
One night, while they had agreed to meet up again at the country-side bridge, Jia was being held up by some issues. Wei gets worried, but he insist of waiting at the bridge.
After a while, dark clouds formed, thunder strike and heavy rain pour, due to the agreement that Wei and Jia had agreed upon, Wei stayed to wait for Jia. Suddenly, the water level raised, big gallons of water flooded into the country-side water drains, with earlier noticing, Wei was swapped away by the strong, roaring water.
Immediately after Wei swapped away by the water, the storm stopped. Jia rushed to the bridge and found out that Wei had died. She was shocked and upset. Without second thought, she killed herself at the site.

第七世乃李奎元與劉瑞蓮的故事。
明朝李自成的族弟白心在李自成謀反後，逃出濟南至無人跡之處，發現一名棄嬰，取名
李奎元。洛陽王家灘劉家政官宰相，見天下大亂，遂告歸林下。其女瑞蓮秀外慧中，家
政因其女才貌雙全，便留心東床快婿，只擇其才子是也。
李奎元長大後，讀書用功，可稱之才子。一日一老翁贈圖給他，指明三年後始可開視。
李奎元探母舅經洛陽途中，巧遇家政的擺設之婚姻擂台，而參與了盛會。 後來奎元打
開老翁之圖，上面乃寫著前六世的悲劇姻緣，而七世的結局就在奎元和瑞蓮的姻緣。
七世夫妻是敘述玉皇大帝跟前的金童玉女犯下錯誤後，受到南極仙翁的懲罰，被降到凡
間經歷世世，只有夫妻之名而無夫妻之實的傳說，具唯美，情止乎禮的情操。
The 7th Couple – Li Kui Yuan & Liu Rui Lian
This story happened in Ming Dynasty (The Ending Period).
While Li Kui Yuan was away looking for shielding from rebel armies, He met the Prime Minister of Ming Dynasty, Liu Jia Zheng.
Seeing that Li Kui Yuan was a young and handsome young lad, Liu Jia Zheng decided to marry his dauther Liu Rui Lian to him.
On the night of marriage, an elderly man handed Liu Jia Zheng a scroll of painting as a gift. Liu Jia Zheng was delighted and decided to open the painting infront of all guests.
Upon opening, 6 small paintings appeared, showing all the 6 previous couples or the 6 past lives of his daughter and son-in-law. From the painting, Liu Jia Zheng realized that his daughter and son-in-law were the Deities of Heaven (Jin Tong Yu Nv) who were being sent down to the Mortal World as a punishment by the Jade Emperor.
Only upon dying for 6 times, then this Heavenly couple could enjoyed the real happiness in the Mortal World.
