I had my doubts about this movie but then a friend brought it over and it was'nt half bad
Sure it could had been called something else and they could had left Nick "The Dick" Cannon
Out of it but still it was pretty good all the same and if by chance its on some cable channel or you rent it

Its worth a look

For sheer perversity (I'm a HUGE fan of the real film-my fave of all the Romero z-flicks), ahmina pick this up as a freebie rental from Blockbuster when I return my latest batch of online rentals. Saw it when I was in there the other day, but other movies (Perfume, Appleseed Ex Machina, Black Sheep, Mulberry St.) took precedence over DotD 08, despite the charming lenticular puking zombie cover. Thanks for the heads up, Pete. I was expecting this to be nothing but a horrid piece of shite on par w/ Children of the Living Dead.

On the random association tip, DotD's Mena Suvari was quite good as the hit & run homegirl in Stuart Gordon's Stuck. Very entertaining black comedy w/ lots of good gory set pieces & an aces performance from Stephen Rea. Well worth checking out when its in limited release come May 30th. I'll get around to reviewing that & the other Danger After Dark flicks I caught at the Phila Film Fest (as well as the craptastic merits of Doomsday & The Ruins) eventually.

Right now, the one movie I'm really looking forward to catching is Zombie Strippers! So glad its opening at the Ritz tomorrow. I'm so there!

I heard about Zombie Strippers on Dread Central or some other horror site..Sounds fun.

I might check out DOTD 08..My brother and his girlfriend are coming over this weekend
to hang out and watch horror movies. I have a lot, infact I think he is a little jealous of my collection, but we could probably use some more.

Yeap, from what I've heard, Zombie Strippers is a big bunch of over the top gory punk/comic splatter goodness. If its as much fun as seeing a midnite show of Feast, I'll be happy. Click the link for the official sit if you want to see the trailer & some clips.
