How many of you out there like or love "THE ORIGINAL DOORS?"

Ian Ashbury is trying to be someone he's not
I mean the real deal

My favorite doors tunes are "Not to touch the earth" "When the music's over" "LA Woman" and "Riders on the storm"
I love most of the songs they did but these 4 are my favorites. B)

I love The Doors..My parents were hippies, of course, they had alot of old 60's rock records..When I was a teenager, I stole some of their Door's albums, and later bought a cd of the Doors greatest hits.
This is the first I have heard of some band trying to be the Doors. That is just lame, and the band should know that the original fans pf The Doors are not going to like what they are doing, they are going to be insulted.

Well moon the band that is trying to be them is made up of 2 of the original doors Keyboard player Ray Manzerak and Guitarist Robby Krieger
They have added former drummer from "The Police" Stuart Copeland and they have an actual bass player now
As I mentioned they have if I'm not mistaken Ian Ashbury who trys to look and sound (Yeah right) like Jim Morrison and they call themselve
"The doors of the 21st century"
Mainly because former doors drummer John Densmore took them to court and sued them over it
But all in all they suck.

i'm a huge doors fan! my favorite album is the soft parade. i have their double live album and just listening to morrison go off on some tangents is priceless. he was truly a man ahead of his time.

I saw The Doors of the 21st Century on Craig Kilborn one night, and I was just kinda befuddled that Ian Astbury has lost his identity, and now thinks he has to try to look like Jim Morrison. WTF??? Don't get me wrong though...I do like The Cult. The VH1 Storytellers show The Doors did was really good with various vocalists and the original band. The Doors of the 60s and 70s are the real Doors, and cannot be replaced!

see i never listened to the Doors till the week of Thanksgiving when i watched the movie about jim Morrison's life...what was it called? oh wait yeah The Doors! lol their music is awesomeness! it kinda just makes you wanna jump up and bone somebody LOL
