In an attempt the get the forum a bit more lively and to get people talking, I suppose. :blush: Questions are underlined for those who don't want to read through my nonsense. /sweatdrop

What if the character you're working on/applied for had been taken? What genre or team would you go after next if that happened, or even if you were allowed a second character, or even a third? *gasp*

For me, if I were to be rejected for Classical, I'd probably completely scrap my character concepts thus far and start anew and go with a completely different genre. I immediately jump on to the J-rock possibility, since it is admittedly one of the music genres that I'm the most personally involved in. Actually, my original concepts were for a Mr. J-rock when I first found PC, but I ended up losing him and creating Elise instead. xD; If I were to stick to the Superna senshi, I'd probably end up chasing after Opera - mostly because one of my good friends is very, very into it, but he lacks the internet right now. D;

Beyond that, what inspired the characters you have or are working on now?

Elise was inspired by her namesake song - Fur Elise - and a long time trying to envision what the songs would be like as a person. She changed a lot during the process, both as a character and a senshi. My original image of her included ballet slippers until I realized that was an Errata genre! :eek:

Which brings me to another question for all of the lurkers, applicants and members; if you were to create an Errata senshi, what genre would you choose?

I did a lot of poking around and pondering while I was working on my application and awaiting my review, if you couldn't tell. xD One of the things I looked at was the list of possible genres for Errata senshi - two of which immediately caught my eye. Those were, of course, Ballet and then Horror Punk. I'd never heard of the latter being a genre, so I looked into it and was immediately amused and reminded of early visual kei bands. I think it'd be a lot of fun to make senshi based off of either of those - a fluffy, floating prince/ss or a bedraggled, foul-mouthed zombie wanna-be with a moldy fuku. :laugh:

Well, enough of me spamming the board. I'd really like to hear your guy's thoughts and reasons, too! :heart:;

Woot. ;3 Survey love!

Firstly - I'd cry. Really. I've been working on Sailor Jungle for such a long time and she's evolved so much but if someone else wanted her, I'd choose my first alternative - Sailor Gabber. X3 Now how cool would it be to have a character that's ridiculously loud, irritating, and has robots in her theme somewhere? :heart: :heart: :heart:

And if both Jungle and Gabber were taken, I'd go for Goa, psychedelic trance is amazing and having a LSD-loving, trippy, Hippie character with a love for space would be even more amazing. :tongue: Plus, a rainbow and tie-dye fuku would be fun to work with. Not to mention, challenging as heck. XD

My current character I'm working on is somewhat of a mystery; I've been working avidly on her application yet each time I go to write more of her, she transforms into something else. I just wish she would tell me who she is already. *insert cryptic music here!*

Ivy Rose Parker...wow, where to even begin with her? n_n;; She's been drinking and dancing in my mind for such a long time. My original character was going to be a Sailor Surf-Rock, but somehow she too transformed into Sailor Jungle, a party-worshiping, crazy drunk originally in camouflage and now in leopard print. =p (She's changed so much, check out this link to see her art through the years.) I think a lot of her is from the college parties I witness along with various individuals who party it up every night versus going home and studying. I've made her into the personification of junglists who too share a huge love of partying with wild plants all around them and I'd like to say that I think I captured them well. I also have a friend named Keiko and she definitely inspired Ivy's love for fashion and desire to run a fashion boutique with her room mate, as Keiko is doing the same thing. Keiko and Ivy are quite alike too which is probably why I wanted to make Ivy even more like her. ;3 Glad I did as it worked out well. Ivy is a mixture of the loud, outgoing people I see at parties who are fun drunks, basically. X3 The rest comes from examining her sun sign, rising sign, and moon sign which turned out making her into the ideal Sailor Jungle coincidentally.

Which brings me to another question for all of the lurkers, applicants and members; if you were to create an Errata senshi, what genre would you choose?
(I love your answer to this question, Lin. XD;; Sailor Horror Punk FTW) I've already created Sailor Symphonic Metal based off of bands like Nightwish and Sonata Arctica but if I decided to create another Errata, it would be a Sailor Italo Disco. I love this obscure genre and I think making an Errata after it would be fun being I know the genre better than most. Errata senshi are awesome guest appearances and potential allies and foes in battle, I don't think they should be underestimated and that every member should consider creating one. X3 With their crazy, little-known genres, creating any Errata will be much fun. *rose*

This is a tough question to answer, because I changed my mind so many times in the past :faint: in fact when I was toying with heavy metal and glam rock back in ancient history Scene wasn’t even on the list. However, I think she’s become absolutely perfect for me. That being said, if Scene would have been taken I think I would have felt absolutely devastated, lol.

Though I do not think if she had been taken I would work backwards, I gave up heavy metal and glam rock for reasons where they didn’t click for me. So I think I would have gone after Sailor BGM. Video game music just seems like it would be thee coolest realm to deal with in relations to fun fukus and attacks. Not only that, but the character’s alias could be an utterly geeky chic type person. :love:

So, so, so many different things inspired Aimie.

Pieces of every band I love, the words of every song I listened to through my headphones when I wrote out her biography, every scene queen and scenie weenie on MySpace with their carbon copy hair and fashion sense. These were all the pieces of what I wish I knew. Those were the things I wish I could be or could have in real life; the fashion sense, cool hair, some courage to get ‘fun’ piercing, and self confidence. These traits manifested mainly into Aimie’s appearance, and some of her likes, dislikes and hobbies.

Then there were the things about Aimie I knew and I owned. Tattoos, bad poetry, and the Chicago skyline (I’m not a Chicago resident per se but I’m only a stone’s throw away and considered a part of ‘Chicago Land’). Scene’s hometown is the hometown of my favorite band, Fall Out Boy, and it is a beautiful suburb that I have definitely played tourist around a few times. Her boyfriend’s name is Patrick Stump’s middle name, and her high school is that of Joe Trohman and Pete Wentz. These things that were dear to me shine through in her history and her relationships.

A lot of minor details I just copy and pasted from my own personality at the end of the day, with a larger majority of her likes, dislikes, hobbies, and then a bit of her personality – only after I convinced myself that giving the girl some of my own traits would make her much easier to play and keep in character.

Which brings me to another question for all of the lurkers, applicants and members; if you were to create an Errata senshi, what genre would you choose?
Right now I am actually working on two errata applications, or as I should put it, for months I have been kicking errata ideas around in my head and my indecisive self has narrowed it down to two. I’m pretty sure at the end of the day I’m only going to submit which of the two I like better; however, I don’t want to jinx myself nor let anybody down so at the moment that’s going to be a secret. ;]

I'll admit, Erratas are a lot of fun to toy with until it comes to actually forcing myself to get the ideas down into written word and to make it flow how I picture it.
