Title: Introductions
Description: Introductories can be found in this post
Bee - October 18, 2006 03:37 AM (GMT)
Like almost every forum, this should be the first topic anyone should post on besides their own application. XDD
And to begin, I will introduce myself as Bee, Bum~Bee, or simply Rachel, the "Head Honcho" of the game. Aliases are my specialty and I have changed them through the course of the years I have been roleplaying. Kiwi was an old nickname of mine from 3~5 years ago for all you oldschool SMRPers. /love
I have been working on PC for years now, trying to make it into the high-quality it is today. Not to mention, when it was first thought up, I was a youngin' and did not believe I had what it took to run such a RPG. Unlike then, I feel like PC is ready to see the light of day. XD Proelium Cantus has been through a lot to get here too.
I live in Tampa, Florida (Ew :) and am generally around to answer any sort of questions, so yeah. u_u If there is anything you want to talk about, even non-PC stuff, feel free to IM me at polkadots are in on AIM. I tend to get busy on the weekends with college stuff although not currently because I sent out all my college apps. x) Woo.
Besides PC, I have participated in RPing for years, 12~13 years about. Starting in AOL 2.0's "Sailor Moon" private chatroom, I eventually ended up in such wonderful games as Sailor Myth and Cryptic Darkness to name a couple. I am also an editor of the Sailor Moon RPG categories on Google, Yahoo!, and Alta Vista and the Managing Editor of my school newspaper. Yeah. Writing and RPing are my fetishes.
Above all, I really wish to restore the high-quality Sailor Moon roleplay community and I hope Proelium Cantus is just what a SMRPer's palette seeks. :) So many games these days are just thrown together on Yahoo! Groups without much thought or done over Greatestjournal, accepting anyone who even acknowledges their game. This is not what the old Sailor Moon RPing community used to be so I am really interested in restoring it! :D yayaya! /random hopes and dreams
Talking and writing are passions of mine too if you did not notice. XDD So, without the bee's further blabbery, please feel free to introduce yourselves in this post, whether a player, prospective player, stalker, or forum troll! ;D

I have been rp'ing for quite a while, (well, in the scope of my online experience it has been a while) and I do believe myself to be literate and a great contributer to storylines. Bry~Zee - December 31, 2006 07:19 AM (GMT)
Hoorah!
Proelium Cantus is finally here and open. As a side not to Rachel personally I just wanted to say congratulations on finally getting the role play open and to a great start. You really deserve a roaring round of interweb applaud for all the long hours and years of work you put into this.
Okay boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen I suppose I should get off my rear and introduce myself also. Not to mention I send a happy greeting to Angel who I haven't yet met, and well, what the hell, hi Rachel!
So let's get this started; my name is Bryana and I am a twenty something who's turn on's include candle light dinners and long walks on the beach. ... o_O; sorry >_>;
*clears throat*
Okay so yea, I am Bryana or Bry Zee, and I have recently turned twenty. I'm from Portage, Indiana which is about a forty minute drive east of Chicago.
Man, only to my name and locale and already I'm babbling, well - I've been role playing for around nine years, I started on the AOL Rhy'Din boards, than found the Greek Senshi where I met Rachel. To be honest, we didn't get along greatly at first, but now I love her as if she were my own *sniff*. Anyway, I haven't joined any big name Sailor Moon role plays in a long, long time. I instead began forum role playing with neighborhood styled groups, like
Farmington for example >_>;. However; I am thrilled to finally see PC launch and be a part of the fun.
So, anybody who wants to IM me can feel more than welcome, I use AIM mostly, my screen name is
Bry Zee86, and on occasion I'll use Yahoo! Messenger where my screen name is
Bry_Zee86. I am usually on every day for at least a little while; although I do carry a pretty full plate in the real world. I am currently in my second college semester to become an elementary school teacher, full time of course. And I work 20-30 hours a week at a video store, also I try to balance friends, relationships, homework, and a little Bryana time so if I can't get back to somebody right away I apologize in advance.
As for stuff I like: music for sure (Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, My Chemical Romance, The Academy Is..., Snow Patrol, Hot Hot Heat, The Primary Lines, Cruel Irony, Without a Soul, The Ataris, et cetera - am I obviously Sailor Scene?), television (Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Boondocks, Gilmore Girls, et cetera), manga (too freaking many to list), movies (Citizen Kane, most disney films, most studio ghibli films, et cetera) - and well, there is tons more.
So yea, I'll quit talking for a while.
WELCOME TO PROELIUM CANTUS EVERYBODY!
And as a reminder, if anyone ever needs anything feel free to message, im, get a hold of me somehow - and I will help to the best of my ability, especially if the loverly miss Rachel isn't around to help with things.
<3 Bryana
Bee - January 1, 2007 06:03 PM (GMT)
I am so glad Proelium Cantus is finally open! :] And heyo Angel, it is so nice to see you on the forums in addition to helping me immensely with my blog crew. Thank you so much. 8D I cannot wait to see your application and everyone else's!
moonduchess - January 2, 2007 03:00 AM (GMT)
Hi, my name is Stephanie, some of you on LiveJournal may recognize me as princesspolaris. I'm 27 years old from Toronto, and I'm so happy to be here!
I've never done an RPG before, but everyone's got to start somewhere. Perhaps being part of PC will help me expand my horizons - I love Sailor Moon (I've loved it since I was 16 when the English dub first started) and I love to write. This will hopefully let me be able to put both of those interests to good use.
See you soon! ^_^~
emevres - January 3, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
Alright Dudes, yes I will call you dudes for the moment, hello.
I'm so excited about this site.
I don't fully understand it.
Okay, so my name is Jessica. Blech. Or Urei. Blech. --jesska.
Just try to avoid calling me anything is fine =)
I live in Merryland.
It's not so exciting over here..
and I wish it would just snow! ><
I don't think I've ever really done a Sailor Moon roleplay before because
I was always afraid I'd mess them up if I tried to play an already
existant character.
But I've always enjoyed reading them.
I started roleplaying not that long ago.
4 years at the most I think.
Something along those lines.
I started on Neopets where I met the Lovely Bryzee~
I actually read her introduction on the board wrong..
But I neomailed her because I'm a freak and love to compliment
good introductions.
And we've been talking ever since.
Lately I've mainly been doing informal roleplays over IM
or neighborhood roleplays like
Dawson's Ridge and Farmington -which Bry gave a link to above.
Anyways~
So this is going to be my first roleplay over email and all sorts of things.
I'm really excited.
Bryzee mentioned this site that her friend had put 3 years into making about
2 or 3 days ago.
And I had once before heard of this site in the making, but I didn't understand.
After actually seeing PC up, I was really amazing.
And I started saying, "Looks interesting.. maybe I'll join...meh."
But now I'm completely absorbed. /sweatdrop
Not quite sure how it happened.
But I love making new characters,
and this whole idea seems really quite interesting.
I talked to Bee once on IM today and she seems really nice.
And everyone else who has posted on here does aswell.
So I can't wait to meet everyone.
That's all. ^^

Alright.
I'll go back and work on my application~ /love
Miri - January 3, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
Hi everyone, the name is Miri. I've been a part of the Sailormoon community since 2000 (I still remember the good old days on Eternal-moon.org's forums back in 2002...) Came here by way of the SM Blog Crew~ <3
I've moved on to other fandoms, but PC seemed like such a good plotline that I couldn't tear myself away!
I'm 16 and a junior in high school, born and raised in Texas of the USA. I love languages, singing, dancing, theatre, music... any fine arts in general! I'm also particularly fond of writing, drawing, microbiology, web design, and talking >D
My favourites series are Rozen Maiden, Mermaid Melody, and Ojamajo Doremi. Actually, I just like any magical girl series, although Sailormoon was my first! >D Oh, I like Pullips too, haha. My favourite singers include Hello! Project and Shimatani Hitomi. I'm big on East Asian and European music.
That's all for today! *goes to work on app*
Bee - January 3, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
Welcome Miri, Stephanie, and Jessica. :] It is so nice to see both new and familiar faces from the blog crew. And wow, Jessica, your artwork is amazing. /love I think Bry showed me it over AIM, that is so neat you met over Neopets and odd because I used to play Neopets with her all the time; I am SailorIris on NP.
I cannot wait to receive applications from everyone and if I can be of any help to you, feel free to toss me a PM, post on the forum, or send me an IM at polkadots are in. :)
Miri: Rozen Maiden is currently one of my favorite series. Suiseiseki is my favorite anime character too; I absolutely love her and plan on getting the matching Pullip doll of her too. I am waiting for Rozen Maiden Ouverture episode 2 to be subtitled, I cannot wait!
moonduchess - January 3, 2007 06:16 AM (GMT)
Rachel, do you still play Neopets? I'm heading into my 6th anniversary on the game, I'm girlfromkucha (Survivor 2 tribe name, yeah I'm a fan of Survivor)
Bry~Zee - January 3, 2007 09:34 AM (GMT)
I really am slacking in keeping up with welcoming everybody /sweatdrop . I swear I don't mean to seem distant, or do I? Perhaps I am the quiet, mysterious GM... naw, just been a busy week.
So I would like to extend a further welcome to Stephanie, Jesska, and Miri. And hopefully once I get some sleep I can think of a better and more clever way to welcome the new members aside from, "Gee, hiya! Don't ferget you can all IM me or send me a message anytime a hurhur."
I can agree with Bee 100% though when it comes to wanting to see everybody's applications ^_^; Because quiet honestly, my reviewing bone needs dusted, hehe.
I can't help but think that out of just the forum members who have introduced themselves that Proelium Cantus will become a tight knit, and very close, friendly group.
Now then, it's 3:30Am and I need some sleep >XD
Miri - January 3, 2007 05:10 PM (GMT)
I think my father preordered the Suiseiseki Pullip for me, so I'm excited for her release! /lol
The folks at AnimeLito just finished subbing Ouverture 2:
http://a.scarywater.net/animelito/It's definitely got a lot more happening plotwise than Ouverture 1, hehe.
Bee - January 4, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
I am going to go and check that out! And I collect Pullips. XD I was not that keen on Rozen Maiden Pullips until I saw the Suiseiseki one, then I fell in love. /love
Thanks for the link!
Angel - January 4, 2007 12:17 AM (GMT)
Welcome, everyone! ^_^~
And Miri, yay for High School Juniors! =D I am one as well. This year's a bitch, isn't it?
We seem to share many of the same interests. Who's your favorite member of the Hello! Project? I'm rather fond of GAM, and Aya Matsuura on her own. I also have a special spot for Charmy as well. <3
emevres - January 4, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
Yay Sophmores...! ... *Sits in the corner* /sweatdrop
Question for people who have not submitted applications:
Is it taking you forever and a day to fill it out?
It is for me.
>__>;
I went to this restaurant today where you can
draw on the table
and I started to draw fuku ideas.
I'm such a loser.
It surprises me. /sweatdrop
Ah, and Bry.
You're funny.
Don't formally introduce yourself to me.
That would be.. weird. /love
Angel - January 4, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
You're not a loser! You are cool. =D
I have been working on my application for three days now, and I'm still not -ANYWHERE- near done.
Just out of curiousity, which senshi are you applying for? I'm going out for Sailor Salsa, as Sailor J-Pop is already taken.
emevres - January 4, 2007 12:44 AM (GMT)
Trance.
Just Trance.
A male.
Dun dun dun.
Yeah I've been working on mine since.... probably 3 days too.
It's taking forever and I spend so much time thinking,
I'm just not sure how to put it down on the application is all.
My avatar is actually part of my characters.. face.
Heh, whoo mystery. :cough cough: /sweatdrop
I would do j-rock
seeing as that's what I know most about,
however I don't know if I'd like my character to be called
"J-Rock."
Angel - January 4, 2007 12:46 AM (GMT)
Hey, that's awesome! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
xD No wonder it's taking you forever to come up with a fuku design.
I can't wait to see your character! /love
I considered doing J-Rock, but I figured that since I know so much more about J-Pop, it wouldn't be fair or cool to take it just because I couldn't get my top choice.
My avatar is simply Karin, from my favorite manga Kamichama Karin. =3 It has nothing to do with my senshi at all!
emevres - January 4, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
Aw, that's pretty nice of you.
I would have snatched it up if I wasn't so picky. X3
The terrible chibi picture I posted on my first comment
was a picture of my character.
And yes.. the fuku is taking forever and a day.
Because I want it to relate to the alto senshi's
attire, but it also has to match his genre which
is hard for me.
Heh.
Sailor Salsa. /love
Sounds pretty cool, I bet you could do awesome
things for the fuku.
Bet she'll be pretty too.
Just because Salsa sounds so..
exotic.
er.. duh.
Foreign.
^^; /sweatdrop
Angel - January 4, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
Hehe. Trance is a pretty cool name. =D
Oh really? I thought it was adorable! /love
Salsa shall be fun, as it is a latin dance, and I have become quite well acquainted with the language, and I love the Hispanic culture! And the clothing is magnificent! <3 ^-^
emevres - January 4, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
I can't wait to see/read.
/love
I was thinking of doing acid jazz
seeing as I play jazz and listen to it alot -
beh.
And I bet the fuku would be all
slick and refined.
Or crazy because .. to me
Jazz is crazy.
But for some reason I just wasn't sure.
Angel - January 4, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
Jazz itself is crazy. It's funny, Acid Jazz occurred to me to be a rather fascinating genre- I even surfed SIRIUS Jazz to get a feel for what Acid Jazz truly was.
emevres - January 4, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
Haha.
That's great.
I've pretty much restricted my music
to trance for the moment.
I guess to make sure I stay on track. XD
moonduchess - January 4, 2007 03:36 AM (GMT)
I'm applying for Sailor Disco. I've just finished re-working my application (this is Take 2), and I've really worked on making my character flashier - as disco fashion was mostly about flashy
Angel - January 4, 2007 04:24 AM (GMT)
So I see! ^_^~
I really like your character, she's quite flashy. =D
Bry~Zee - January 4, 2007 08:13 AM (GMT)
Man, it seems like my work schedule is keeping me from the fun conversations; however, I'm also kind of done with my application so I don't fit in to the conversation either. To make everybody feel better about their wimpy thee days though, let's just say, I started working on Scene in the first week of November, so that's two months? Yea, who's the lame one now XD;
I'm excited to see what all of you achieve with your applications though :3
And Jesska - I can formally introduce myself if I want ;P cause I said so, hehe /love.
So - any of the rest of you insomniacs who type pointless messages at two in the morning?
moonduchess - January 4, 2007 10:33 PM (GMT)
I just hope Take 2 of my application was a lot better than Take 1, it took me about a day and a half to do all the elaborations and stuff on my character. Application Take 2 was submitted last night and I'm hoping for the best.
Hey, like my avatar? I did it at a site where you can make your own Winx Club fairy. I should give you the link sometime
Miri - January 4, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
Angel: Whoot whoot~ juniors for the win! I'm busy as ever this year, but I'm actually expecting next year to be worse - 6 AP courses my senior year >D
My favourite members of Hello! Project... I'd have to say Sayu, Konno (so sad she left), and Yossie >3 Although I love GAM's songs as well <3 Um... Charmy's awesome as well - I think she does a lot better in v-u-den than she did in MM.
I'm going for Sailor Eurodance (it was a debate between her and Sailor BGM) >3 I'm working quite a bit on the fuku, hehe.
I love how the Alto Senshi have such... elegant clothes when their genres really call for something more grungy. It's a challenge. Even with the Mezzo, I'm working hard on incorporating Eurodance elements into the lacy fuku X3
Angel - January 4, 2007 11:43 PM (GMT)
moonduchess: I am quite a big Winx fan myself, so I already knew about the game a while back (got the link from the winx_club comm at LJ- my user name is angelshimmering.

Mee.
Well, it looks virtually nothing like me, but it's fun.
Miri: Same here! I am actually even considering taking early bird gym so I can fit in another AP class. Gaack. Did you take the PSAT? I got a 213, it sucks. -_-;
Ah, Sayu <3. ^-^
Ooh, I can't wait to see what you do with Eurodance! It's one of my favorite genres of music, but I don't think I could do a character based on that genre so I'm glad that you're taking on the challenge. /love
Yeah, the fuku is tough! Although, it's not as difficult for me as ballroom clothing (Sailor Salsa) will be easier to incorporate into the Mezzo fuku.
moonduchess - January 5, 2007 03:20 AM (GMT)
Angel, you'll do fine. You know me from LJ already, I'm princesspolaris.
I think styling the fuku of your character to fit its genre is one of the most challenging tasks, but it can be fun and creative too. It always helps to do some research on your genre.
Take the character I'm applying for in this case, Sailor Disco. I researched fashions and fads of the era and found that disco was all about flashy, funky styles. So I went wild on my character's fuku - using glitter, sequins, rhinestones, marabou (Bryzee suggested I might have wanted to add a boa to my character, so I thought why not try some marabou) and lame, which was a choice material for many disco outfits worn by young women. And of course I couldn't forget the platform heels ^_^~
Bee - January 5, 2007 04:13 AM (GMT)
The fuku is supposed to be the big challenge..And a rewarding one too! :) It really shows that you have researched and "mastered" your genre, per say, if your fuku is totally relevant to the chosen genre. It helps us look and see that you know what genre you're talking about and tests your creativity skills.
And I must see the Winx character creator! I've never seen it before and it looks great! So, someone toss me a link. :P
Miri: Eurodance sounds wonderful! I can't wait to see what you do with the genre!
moonduchess - January 5, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
Angel - January 5, 2007 09:43 PM (GMT)
Fun, another lj'er! /love
('sides Rachel, who I already knew. x3)
Salsa is so much fun. I love the music, and watching the dance is too much fun. =D
Bry~Zee - January 5, 2007 11:02 PM (GMT)
I'm an LJ'er too, err three? Err however many other Live Journal users we have on here. But I'm pretty much a LJ Wall-flower. /sweatdrop
Bee - January 7, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
I hardly post in my Livejournal any more unless it is for one of my blog crews. :P I should post more often, and thanks for the link!
moonduchess - January 7, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
UGH, today has not been a good day for me. I wanted to go out and pick up a few things at the mall today, but instead I've been holed up in bed with the flu /upset
emevres - January 7, 2007 04:01 AM (GMT)
I'm so loserish for being busy.
Last night I tried to stay home to work on my application.
But then I went to my boyfriend's house at like 7 like a loser >.>
And today I had art school from 9-3 and then went to the mall and a friend's house.
Tomorrow I have homework.
Ew.
But I will try to work on it :D
*kicks the fuku*
Aw.
I'm sorry to hear you have the flu.
Get better! >< /love
And I don't use livejournal.. I had one
for like two days but then I forgot the password. XD
moonduchess - January 7, 2007 04:23 PM (GMT)
I'm okay now, good thing this strain of flu is only a 24-hour bug /love
Ran - January 17, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
So now that I can actually log in I suppose I should introduce myself!
Hey guys I'm Ran also known as Kirby. I don't do much around here other then run the forums *shruggles* I was going to apply for Sailor J-pop but then all my acting and Myuing got in the way so it can't really be helped! Uhm
Let's see my intrests include: FMA DOUJIN! FMA it's self, my girlfriend, sleeping, singing, acting, American Idol, Roleplaying, YAOI! YURI! Het... Not so much.. Uhm Yeah I'm weird like that... I love cosplaying, and recently I've gotten into the Sera Myu stuff. So be looking for an RPG which Bee-chan has blessed me with pimpage offerings as soon as I get the girl off her feet. :)
Currently my projects are: MYU... And all kinds of it... And a FMA dub of the whole series plus the movie... So as you can see I'm not about to jump into the game any time soon. But I did promise Bee-chan that once I got a free moment I'd LOVE to take up a character and play :) SO please look forward to me entering the game at some point. :)
I think that's about all the you need to know from me... If you want to hear some reall god aweful japanese singing (it's really not that bad I just don't give myself the credit I deserve) go to :
http://www.putfile.com/ranlirit/mediaLike EVERYTHING I do is on there.
moonduchess - January 17, 2007 11:04 PM (GMT)
Hi Ran, nice to meet you!
I did my second revision on my character application, and I think I got it this time. I'm even going to put together a soundtrack for my character as well, so that should be a fun project
Ran - January 18, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
I have all the songs picked out for my character and it was easy. It's not to hard when your doing Sailor J-pop and the Myu's fall under Jpop catagory :P :) So I have alot of my songs that kind of fit the mood of my character already picked out I just have to do the application. :) I think I'm going to start working on that now so I can do something other then casting... I'm getting sick of all the drama in my major production right now and I just need something to relax with.
