Hello MichaelM! :D ...and welcome!
I've read the DaVinci Code and am currently in the middle of Deception Point. I like Dan Brown's books... they are really clever in the way they are written and ploted (esp. the DaVinci Code). Can't wait for the movie!!!! Yay!!! :)
Never heard of the Sharpe series... who is it by? <_<
I've been on your site too, like once or twice. It's really nice. ;)
[looks at clock] OMG! It's like just past midnight here (I was finishing off some science essay for school) so I'll reply to all of the other posts later. I'm soooooo tired. *yawn*

Sharpe is by Bernard Cornwell. Id link ya to a sharpe site, but there really are no good ones online XD (The movie series had 14 movies, but the last one was a few years back so meh :( )
But yeah - Dan Brown's books are so clever! :D
That said, the suspense at the end of every chapter could drive ya nuts! xD
I liked Deception Point, but not as much as the others. It really picks up pace towards the end though, so keep reading! :D
Kitty- lol - Glad to hear it :P
And hehe - Im not exactly subtle about my SMG love

Did you see the new Sharpe they aired a couple of weeks ago? I missed it, because I was asleep. :( (My sleep schedule's up the creek at the moment: I keep swinging round from being asleep during the day, to asleep at night, to asleep during the day.)
Apparently there was someone from Green Wing in it though! I don't suppose you watch that?

Naa - Ive never heard of Green Wing - What is it?
But YES! I saw that Sharpe!! (TBH - I wouldnt have missed it for the world! xD )
After a 7 year break...
And it was utterly brilliant - I loved it! They actually did really well i though. They took the plot of one of the books that was set before the main series, but as a movie, they redid it so that it was mainly set after the other movies, letting them bring back a load of the old actors. It was brilliant, as every one of the important actors actually came back :D
Ya should have watched it - It was great :P
The only sad bit is that now there is a new Sharpe movie, ive no longer got the whole series on dvd.... xD

I guess you must not have Green Wing in Ireland. :( It's a comedy show - really surreal and absolutely hysterical.
Yeah, I heard that they decided to take an older book and change when/where it was set. I bet somewhere there's a fanboy who's really annoyed about that that. (Because there always is!)
LOL, aww. Well I'm sure they'll bring the latest installment out in a DVD volume of its own so you can add it to your collection. :)

True - There is ALWAYS someone who doesnt like whats been done in the movie... xD
But meh - I loved it, as those actors are so fantastic! They are what made the series :D
And haha - THEY BETTER! Or im blaming you!! ;)

Heheh... How many people do you think will there be in the AF fandom who don't like the movie? Although I suppose that depends upon how well made the movie turns out to be! :D
