Title: Weekly results and match fixtures
Description: 2006-2007

halfblackwinner - August 25, 2006 03:28 PM (GMT)
Well, i just thought that instead of opening a thread for each week's results, why dont we just put all together in one. Anyone who wants to post the results of the week will just post it so that it will be convenient for anyone who wants to check the score of the team :D
is that ok ?:D
If so, we might as well just follow a format:
Date of matches:
1) Home Vs Away
Score: Score

Well, i am gonna start with the mid week games played
Date: 22.8.06
1) Watford Vs West Ham United
1 : 1
2) Tottenham Hotspur vs Sheffield Utd
2 : 0

Date: 23.8.06
1) Aston Villa Vs Reading
2 : 1
2) Manchester City Vs Portsmouth
0 : 0
3) Blackburn Rovers Vs Everton
1 : 1
4) Charlton Athletic Vs Manchester United
0 : 3
Special mention of scorers:
Fletcher!
SAHA!!!
Solskjaer!
5) Fulham Vs Bolton Wonderers
1 : 1

LAST BUT NOT LEAST!
6) MIDDLESBROUGH VS CHELSEA
2 : 1
HAHAHAHAHA
SCORERS:
SHEVA :harhar:
Pogatetz
MARK VIDUKAAAAA! (PENALTY!)

that's all for the mid week games :D

on coming matches this weekend:
Liverpool Vs West Ham United (MUST WATCH!)
Charlton Athletic Vs Bolton Wonderers
Fulham Vs Sheffield United
Tottenham Hotspur Vs Everton (WILL WATCH!)
Watford Vs Manchester United (SURE WATCH!)
Wigan Athletic Vs Reading

and of course, i have absolute confidence in Man Utd!
but a point to note, ARSENAL PLAYS BETTER AWAY.
their new emirates stadium is kinda jinxed for them man.

GO CHELSEA AND MAN UTD!!!!

syafiqah - September 16, 2006 03:50 PM (GMT)
i really hope the 'we end unbeaten runs' songs sung by the united fans won't be deflected back onto them.... last season we came into the arsenal game in absolute crap and they were in high spirits(but we did beat them 4-2). but when was the last time they won at OT? :harhar: giggsy's out for 3 weeks and park's for 3 months, but arsenal's without henry, so i'm keeping my spirits up! :bounce:

and i really hope chelski loses as well...liverpool's wounded by their 3-0 humiliation to everton..and carra has issued a public apology cum warning.. now, if only they play as well as their words...

2-1 to Manchester United, thin 1-0 for liverpool with - surprise, surprise - alonso scoring the winner (and at last recover his form!!!)

part in italics aside, anyone argue with those scores?

Chelsea suffered a setback when Ballack was red-carded for a rash 51st-minute challenge on Sissoko when it appeared he stamped on his rival midfielder's leg.

Maaan can't believe United lost in Old trafford :cry3:

anyway, good match for Arsenal.. and Fabregas specially. gotta admitt they played better!!

halfblackwinner - September 22, 2006 11:08 AM (GMT)
ha, chelsea won and that day marked the beginning of a new history between benitez and mourinho! THEY SHAKED HANDS FINALLY!
hahahaha, it was brief but yeah, at least something historical happened, arch rivals shaking hands. wow

and i have to say that i cant believe man utd lost.. but i heard arsenal was the better side that day.. and just a stroke of geniusity helped arsenal win... but c'mon, the title race between 4 horses is still more fun than just either chelsea man utd or liverpool or arsenal leading it.. :D

this season's epl is much more interesting than last season's!

*Reading vs United game being played at 1715 GMT

syafiqah - September 23, 2006 06:12 PM (GMT)
last match for 23 sep 2006

Reading 1 - 1 Man Utd
48' K Doyle (pen) 1 - 0
73' 1 - 1 C Ronaldo

*utd had 18 shots, 8 on target but had to equalise in the 74th min via ronaldo after reading led 1-0 thanks to a penalty perfected by Doyle after Gary Neville was called for handball.

*rooney was furious not to receive a blatant penalty

*my analysis: reading deserved the scoreline for their gritty display : :muitobem:
united was playing under-par again; imagine, struggling against a
newly-promoted team...:hit:

mchanna - September 23, 2006 08:27 PM (GMT)
oh no!!!!!!!
i love it when news about rooney exist lol
they are funny.
