Title: Real Madrid launch 35M bid for AC Milan's Kaka
Karamela - July 16, 2006 03:06 PM (GMT)
Real Madrid are ready to offer ?35 million for AC Milan midfield ace Kaka.
While he remains in talks with Juventus over Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluca Zambrotta and Emerson, Real sports chief Predrag Mijatovic will table a major bid for Kaka this week.
Kaka faces two seasons out of the Champions League because of AC Milan's Calciopoli punishment and those close to the Brazilian are indicating he is now considering his future.
Only days ago Real offered ?20 million for Kaka, but the bid did not even bring a response from Milan. Mijatovic expects an answer from Milan officials this week when he tables an improved offer.
Kaka's Brazil teammate Julio Baptista told AS: "He's a good person. A player very focused and hard working. But never has he said to me that he wants to come to Madrid.
"He has always told me that he was very happy in Milan and that he wanted to renew his contract.
"Now I do not know if he has changed his opinion. But yes, sometimes he has asked me how things are at Real Madrid."

They are in the process of rebuilding the squad. The last 2 years has been bullshit for them.. they are throwing out people like Raul.. Zidane just retired... every good player is gone including Figo. That's why they need to buy. Everything now is new for them, including a new coach, new president. If you understand squad rebuilding, you will know every club needs to do it every few years. Which is why they want Kaka (to take over Zidane) and some world class defenders like Cannavaro. Please don't think they're buying star players, the era of the 'Galacticos' has been long over. Now it's going to be different. Everyone hates Real Madrid because of that policy but seriously I feel now it's changing eversince the new president took over.
The reason why they put 35 million is simply because they have been wanting Kaka since god knows when!. They were in the same race in buying him as AC Milan when he was in Sao Paolo (but thank god he went to Milan because he would've been benched back then at Real Madrid). That is why they are putting a high price... not because they are trying to show that they are power/money people...
Again, my opinions! B)
Drizinha - July 17, 2006 06:26 AM (GMT)
They haven't got tittles in the last years.. I mean, maybe Milan in the 2 years either.. but we have finished very well in the last 2 seasons and with good football. we even reached a final in 2005!
Real Madrid hasn't even showed they have played well!! they haven't done anything except losing everything in a pathetic way the last 4 years. is why I fear Ricardo there!!!! I mean, practicly is not worth it..for Ricky to stay in Milan, becuz of the situation (and it hurts me, but is the reality).. but c'mon RM is not exactly the most loved and greatest club eveeer!!! they start all the seasons saying "we will bounce back" they buy great players but you see everything but football in that pitch.
Maybe with Capello things go different, and i hope.. if my ricky goes there. but sorry, i just can't trust! and believe me, if someone like Fabio..can't change Real Madrid. They are dead. and forever.
The era of the galaticos over?? yea sure.. they want all the best players in the world right now!
Ash - July 17, 2006 07:09 AM (GMT)
Well, I've been watching Madrid even before they bought their Galacticos so I can tell you however you perceive them now is pretty unfair owing to the fact that they are the most successful club in history with 9 champions league victories (I could list their achievements). Milan is also another great club and play brilliant football with brilliant players. But sometimes, football isn't in such a way that everything goes smoothly. Haha everyone knows that, but whatever it is, the reason why Madrid were such bullshit the past few years was because of the president, Fiorentino Perez. He has left the club ; because of him Real were hated, stereotyped, doted on in every worst possible way.
They want all the best players in the world because it has always been a policy... who doesn't want all the best players in the World?!. Chelsea wants too, so does Manchester United. Real Madrid are just unfortunate to have EVERY move noted down by the press, even moreso when Beckham joined us. Like I said, they are rebuilding their squad... they were having problems because of their older squad. This new squad is managed by a much more experienced manager, who knows? They can start winning titles again.
Maybe Kaka won't move, maybe Kaka will move. He will be perfect otherwise, but not playing in the Champions League for 2 seasons is a huge blow for a player of his stature. Seriously.
Anyway, it's okay again, these are just my opinions. I have nothing against Milan, like I said, they are a great club and it has been a pleasure watching them all this while... it just sucks to have the club you feel affectionately for being doted in an unfair way. You will feel the same if someone says that about your favorite club ;)
MeSsSsI - July 17, 2006 09:01 AM (GMT)
In some way, I must agree with you.
halfblackwinner - July 17, 2006 11:44 AM (GMT)
sure, i somewhat agree with ash!
i agree the part about the president totally!
but seriously, i think, Capello will certainly change the way real is working right now. I am certain that they will win something at least next season, with Capello.
Capello is just one of the few guys that i really think is good in terms of managing the squad, so maybe he will bring work this whole real madrid trash right now out properly.
But, for now, i still dont like them cos of their galactico era still suspiciously existent. But bravo piece ash. A true blooded REAL REAL FAN! HAHAHA! :flowers:

Drizinha - July 17, 2006 07:55 PM (GMT)

Kaka - Milanista a vita - July 30, 2006 06:19 PM (GMT)
Here I´ve got a new statement made by Ricky!
KAKA’: ’Never my intention to leave Milan’
7/30/2006
MILANELLO - Ricky Kakà took part in his first practise match on Sunday and told Milan Channel: ’I am here again, I prolonged my contract before the sentence. I never spoke to anyone before that, neither after the decision of the trial. I think signing before the sentence showed that I am pleased to stay here.’
Drizinha - August 4, 2006 05:41 PM (GMT)
arghh they still want our Rickyy!!
<_< <_< <_<
| QUOTE |
Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon insists that his club are still in the running to sign Kaka from AC Milan. Kaka has recently a new contract which will keep him at Milan until 2011 but Calderon stated he would sign the Brazilian midfielder as one of his election promises.
"It is true that when I presented myself as a candidate I had this objective and (coach) Fabio Capello and (sports director) Predrag Mijatovic said he would do very well for us," Calderon said.
"Mijatovic told me he was confident he would come and I continue hoping it will be so. It is another thing to make it happen but I still believe it is possible."
A week ago Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said the club would not negotiate with Real for the player.
Real have already signed Italian defender Fabio Cannavaro, Brazilian midfielder Emerson and Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy since Calderon became president at the beginning of July. |
