| MILANELLO - Here are the declarations made by Ricky Kaká today after the training session at Milanello: "My conditions are improving and I am preparing to come back for the second match of the league. Yesterday I did a test, I didn't feel pain. Today I worked harder to get back to playing more quickly. I'm sad about not being able to be there for the first match of the league, I hope to be back for the match against Genoa, and I will be happy if we do as well there as we did last year. Tomorrow there's the Uefa Cup draw, I'm unhappy I'm not playing in the Champions League this year. We will try to win the Uefa Cup, it's pointless to complain. Fiorentina deserved to play in the Champions League, we hope to have learned a big lesson. For next year let's hope we get into the Champions League zone earlier so we don't suffer until the end. I'm disappointed that Cristian Brocchi is leaving, he's found a good place, he will go to an important team. I wish him all the best because he deserves it. We will try to win the Uefa Cup to get back in front of Boca Juniors, then there would be the European Supercup and all the other trophies, it will be an extra motivation to win the Uefa Cup. I want to get back to playing, it's not nice for a player to stay in the gym and see his team mates training on the pitch, but I feel I am on the right road, I feel good and I will be back shortly." |
