Lionel Messi has urged AC Milan ace Kaka to join him at Barcelona. "It would be wonderful to play with a great like him," said Messi, who when asked if it would be with Milan or Barcelona, the Argie attacker responded without hesitation: "In Barcelona. My intention is to stay here." |

Kaka has been quoted in the press as saying that he would like to play with Messi, and the Argentine has responded to this in an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport. Kakà is a great champion and it is good to know that he would like to play with me, as I heard, said Messi. It is clear - he should come to Barcelona. |

Chelsea's hopes of landing Brazilian superstar Kaka received a boost last night as AC Milan admitted they are ready to sell the South American for £55million to balance their books.
Milan are determined to land Kaka's Brazilian compatriot Ronaldinho from Barcelona, despite haggling over the Catalan club's valuation. But new San Siro president Adriano Galliani put Chelsea on red alert last night as he publicly revealed for the first time that Milan will let Kaka go if the right offer comes in.
Galliani said: "To get the books back in order it would be enough to sell Kaka for £55m."
Milan look certain to miss out on a Champions League spot next season and are set for a massive summer overhaul, with Carlo Ancelotti likely to be replaced as coach by Frank Rijkaard or Roberto Donadoni.
Ronaldinho is set to arrive for around £22m, once a deal is struck with Barca.
And with Milan keen to land Didier Drogba, midfielder Kaka could now be in play for a player plus cash swap that would give Roman Abramovich the fantasy footballer he has craved.
Please tell me that it is gossip  i'm confused first they write to Real madrid , and now chelsea  :ink: :hit:

We have to wait for Kaka.
Only he can confirm it, not Galliani, not the press, not Chelsea and not anybody else...
ONLY KAKA.
At the moment, I'm turning my ears deaf, as always... nothing to worry.
:P
bruNETka - April 29, 2008 10:53 AM (GMT)
Galliani just said tha it WOUL BE enough to sell Kaka to balance books. i think he told it as an example he didn't confirm anything. He just said this statement and press in all other the world made from it sensation. The same article was about Real and now the same article, even the same words but know about chelsea.
Hope that it is romours. Otherwise, why Ricky renewed his contract? It's illogical. Real and Chelsea speculate for many yoers but it doesn't mena that Milan will sell the only star!!!!!!!!
To be honest, when I've read this I was a little shocked, and I still try to belive that it is gossip!

today on eorusport Russia I was a review about Milan's problem and Galliani said that the club not planning let Ricky and that he is optimistic about milan's problems.
Yesterday on Finance classes our tutor said that Chelsea make the biggest debt in the history of football, in spite of that they don't sell their stars)

This is a misunderstanding.Galiani didn't say that.As BRUNETKA said he just took Kaka' as an example that Milan can never bankrupt.
lydca22 - April 29, 2008 01:29 PM (GMT)

azzurri_kaka22 - April 29, 2008 03:43 PM (GMT)
I never believe anything from any site anymore, unless i hear it with my own ears from galliani, berluscioni or ricky... i don't believe anyone, because its just gossip.
maybe galliani used it as an example but i don't think they would sell Kaka, there most prized player, after all berluscioni is the italian prime minister & is a billionere & is galliani sayin there having money problems WTF?????????????????????
Now thats how i know its lies, Berluscioni has more than enough money.

Kaká believes that AC Milan will return to winning ways after the summer rebuilding plans, Manchester United are favourites for the Champions League and that he and Ronaldinho can play together in the same team.
The Brazilian superstar spoke about a wide range of matters in an extensive interview with Catalan daily Sport, but his main theme was his commitment to the Rossoneri at the start of what he believes will be a new era for the club.
A New Era
Predictions are being made about the number of players that will come and go from Milan in the summer, but Kaká will certainly not be one of those involved in any move after committing himself to a new contract.
"I believe that everything that is happening will enable us to start a new cycle and to renew the squad. Milan have always won things with experienced players. There are players here that have achieved almost everything and, at times, the mentality is different. Changes are a natural progression," he explained.
"I like the club, the city and the country. I truly believe that Milan are making great plans and I will be able to continue to win things here. I am only young and have enough time to start this new project. I am sure that success will return.
"We have not had a good year for many reasons. Milan should always be in a position to win the league and now we are having to play just to qualify for the Champions League next season. It is not normal that things are like this and we will have to analyse them, although it is obvious that we must remain positive."
Madrid Talk
Rumours and reports have subsided over a possible move to Real Madrid after the Spanish giants admitted that they could not prise him away from Milan, but Kaká insists that he was never distracted by any of the talk.
"It does not bother me. I like Madrid's interest because I think they only look at the world's best players. It is an historic club with some great players. As I have said, I would only ever talk about this if the two clubs reached a deal, but I have just renewed with Milan until 2013 and am very happy. This is for the clubs to worry about. I am not involved," he continued.
"I would be lying if did not say that I am a big fan of the Spanish league and the Premiership. I see games from those two leagues frequently and they are great. But Serie A is also fantastic and, as I have said, I am very comfortable with Milan."
Playing With Ronnie
Part of Milan's summer rebuilding programme could see Ronaldinhe arrive at the club from Barcelona if the two clubs can agree a free and Kaká would welcome his compatriot, despite critics claiming that they would not be compatible.
"I have not doubts that Ronaldinho is a great player. He has an innate talent that few players the world possess. He is going through a bad time and I think that comes from both professional and personal things. With the greatest respect, I think that he knows only too well that things are not going as he would like," Kaká said.
"I have played with Ronaldinho for Brazil and we never had a problem with each other. I would love it if he came to Milan because he is a winner and could recover his form. It would be great if we signed him and he helped us to win trophies."
Just Champion
Finally, Kaká admitted that while it was hard to watch the Champions League without being involved, he thinks that Manchester United should have the upper hand against Chelsea in the final in Moscow.
"Manchester United are the favourites because of the way that they are playing in the Premier League. They have a great team, maybe the best in Europe, although in a final like that anything can happen. Sometimes the smallest details decide such matches," he concluded.

Since now Ronaldinho is not the Barca star, and Ronaldinho's lever has go down , Milan is not buying him anymore
Besides, Kaka had said a lot of times that he is not leaving Milan , and i really trust him!!!!
What is a good new is that Milan is thinking of getting Shevchenko back to Milan!!! B)

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon doubts that the club will be able to sign Kaka in the summer, even if AC Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Kaka has been a target for the Spanish champions for a number of years now, and Calderon has never attempted to hide his admiration for the Brazilian.
With Milan trailing fourth-placed Fiorentina by two points going into the final Serie A game of the season this weekend, it is looking highly likely that they will fail to qualify for the Champions League.
This has led to rumours that Kaka may choose to quit the club for Real Madrid if the Rossoneri fail to make it.
"I do not know if there will be a chance to sign Kaka if Milan does not make the Champions League. They're known as only a buying club," said an unenthusiastic Calderon.
The president the went on to talk about sports director Pedja Mijatovic, who he has praised for his work in the transfer market.
"It seems to me to have Mijatovic is a luxury for Madrid, Calderon explained.
He has demonstrated this with 19 signings, players who nobody knew and who have been excellent.
"They have provided us with two Ligas, something that has not happened for 18 years. He is an extraordinary person. I have a very good relationship with him."
