Baku-APA-Sport. Referee Roberto Rosetti, 41 appointed to the quarterfinal match Turkey-Croatia on June 20 has an interesting fact related to his nationality. Rosetti’s mother is Croatian depsite that he repersents Italian Football Federation, APA-Sport reports. His mother was born in Vodnjan village near Pula, Croatia and Rosetti is known as a person connected with this country. Recently he visited his mother’s village and church there when he attended the seminar in Croatia. Croatians didn’t hide their hapiness with UEFA appointment. “Will Rosetti be our 12th player against Turkey?”, “Croatian will umpire the Croatia’s quarterfinal match”, wrote the Croatian newspapers.

I knew all that is written there. I was just saying that he's a professional and nationality has nothing to do with how the players act. He did his job the best he could even we all could find some mistakes but that's the GAME!

I came watching this game not really caring who won.
But during watching it I was cheering for Turkey...why?
Because that ref is bias! What the hell was all those yellows for?! A Turkish player gets kicked in the face and nothing but when something as simply as a harmless back collision (the ball was clear btw!) happened the player gets booked?! Obviously a Croatian will disagree and say it was all luck. But imo you guys were lucky that such a ref referred this match; that's the reality. And you guys only have yourselves to blame to for not finishing so much opportunities! I'm not hating on Croatia, you guys had a wonderful game and should be so proud! I thought you guys were going to win! But after Turkey scored...it seemed like they had the psychological advantage :(
(plus I think Turkey's goalkeeper is awesome!)

This game was so boring and dull up until the overtimes. Anyways Congrats to Turkey! And Croatia for playing with such hype and spirit!!
