Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has declared that he wants to bring Andriy Shevchenko back to the club. Don Silvio also says that now that his team are out of the Champions League, he will be cheering on city-rivals Inter.

The Rossoneri were dumped out at the last 16 stage on Tuesday night after they were beaten 2-0 at San Siro by Arsenal.

With Milan out of the competition they have dominated in the past five years, Berlusconi has surprisingly revealed that he will no be cheering on his friend Massimo Moratti’s team.

"Certainly Inter,” Berlusconi told the Gazzetta dello Sport, when asked who he now wanted to see win the Champions League.

“My mother was the secretary of Moratti and I am a friend of his. I hope they win the cup, so we can celebrate together.

"Maybe fans of Milan will not be very happy should this happen, but I am an anomalous fan.”

Shevchenko

Many people have painted Milan's exit as the end of an era, and it is clear that the club needs to make some reinforcements in the summer.

Berlusconi has come out and stated that he intends to bring former hero Andriy Shevchenko back to the club.

The 31-year-old had seven glorious years at San Siro until his ill-fated transfer to Chelsea in 2006.

“I regularly hear from Andriy,” the former Italian prime minister revealed.

“And I believe that Roman Abramovich will have no difficulties letting him go.

“The fans should understand that it would be the right choice. Andriy is a personable player and represents the best solution for us.”

:o ????? Don't think he really means this about Merda.
For Sheva I think he wants to return him back,I watched Sheva's interview in Milan Channel when he visited Milan players and as I understood he wants to be back.

Berlusconi is only saying Inter to win the CL so inter will feel more confident and in football u can't be to confident, i don't think Berlusconi really wants Inter to win.

I go buy this saying Time changes everything i think he would be making a mistake bringing sheva back... sorry just my opinion :) .
