censorthiis - October 14, 2006 01:00 AM (GMT)
I speak, read, and write in English and French fluently.
I speak Vietnamese, but I can't read or write it.
I'm trying to learn Italian right now, then I hope Spanish and Portuguese after. :)
(I'm interested in German too, but I'm afraid it'll be hard for me, since it's less similar to French/Italian/Spanish, etc.)
Honey - October 14, 2006 01:56 AM (GMT)
I guess you meant Chau, right? I never use Chao, but it sounds cute ^_^
I speak Spanish, and I can also speak English :P I wish I knew Italian, though :P

| I love you - Te amo |
I am always confused with this... is also 'Te Quiero' "considerated" as I Love You? Because although in Spanish these two phrases have different meanings, (one is more passionated than the other - deeper meaning), in English they're said both as I Love You. Oh man, they should make up another phrase to differenciate them

The correct way is chao... but people speaks chau.. that's different!
:)
and I meant l love you in the general way (the passionate one.. for lovers, husbands.. boyfriends.. we use te amo), also we speak "te quiero" right, but is commonly used for brothers, sis and friends. ^_^ too bad, english has less way to express things. and dun get confused... in english doesn't exist other way to say "I love you"... becuase they use it for everyone.. (family, boyfriends.. etc) and yes they should invent other one :risata:

I always thought that "te quiero" is the more passionate one, because I thought it was more along the line of "I love/want you"...but glad that's cleared up, haha. Thanks. :)

If you translate it litterally "te quiero" means I want you and "te amo" means I love you..
but like Adri said te quiero is more like for friends and family and te amo is for your "lover" lol +
te amo is much more passionate but you can say te quiero to your boyfriend too specially if your not ready to say te amo :P
You girls all speak a lot of languages! man I only speak spanish and english.. and really bad french
I want to learn Portuguese, Italian and Japanese.. If I can also German and Russian
