Title: TECH N9NE
Description: EVERREADY NEWS...

SRD420 - August 2, 2006 06:00 PM (GMT)
So I know there's some other Tech N9ne fans on here and thought I would share the good news with everyone, so here it is posted by Tech N9ne's manager himself, Travis Oguin.

(What is really going on) Strange Music is in the final phase of negotiation with our new distributor Fontana (Universal). We are trying to get this deal closed by this Friday. The delay that we have been experiencing has to do with our separation from MSC. The MSC agreement should also be completed by this Friday. The Strange / Fontana deal will allow us to do what we originally got in this business for; TO PUT OUT GREAT RECORDS! With this type of deal in place, our fans will no longer have to wait 4 long years to pick up the new Tech N9ne album! These types of delays are not by choice! We also look forward to the upcoming releases from other Strange Music artists like Critical Bill, Skatter & Snug, Project Deadman, Kutt Calhoun, Big Krizz Kaliko, and Kabosh. We are currently doing everything possible to get the Tech N9ne album out on Oct. 24th,2006. Our second option is Nov.7th,2006. There are still many things that have to happen in an extremely timely manner to make one of these dates a reality but know one thing, strange music is doing every thing in its power to make one of these release dates. I have so much more that I want to say but have so little time to do it in so until next time.................Travis

Bout damn time Tech N9ne inked a deal! Dude deserves some real recognition and I believe he will get it through UNIVERSAL. Also looks as though we will see "Everready" drop in October or November... I was startin' to think "Everready" would never be ready, lol, but looks as though its almost time for it to drop. I can't fuckin' wait to cop that album... shits gonna be mad dope, I already know.

Oh and another bit of news I forgot to mention... Tech is in the studio recording five new tracks for this album since half the tracks on Everready were leaked by someone w/ close ties to Tech and the Strange Music family. Pretty sad that someone would do that to Tech after all he's been through... especially someone who's supposed to be close to him, but Tech bein' the good man that he is, is hard at work in the studio comin' up w/ 5 new fresh tracks no ones ever heard. WORD! I personally am excited as all hell for Tech N9ne... this shits been long over-due for him.

SRD420 - August 3, 2006 06:45 PM (GMT)
Another post by Travis Oguin, Tech N9ne's Manager: New Tech N9ne Web Site

I can not began to tell you all how many people hit me up about (therealtechn9ne.com) web site. The truth is that shit is embarrassing. The main reason that we have let that site be nothing more than a tour page and a web store is because we have been spending all of our time focusing on a totally redesigned Tech site. The new site will be launched in the very near future. The layout of the site coincides with the new Tech N9ne look that he has recently implemented. You all will also be glad to know that the new site will be substantially easier for us to update and change. It is very important to me that we bring all of you news updates, pictures,up to date videos, and to the minute tour page info. This type of shit is extremely time consuming with our current 6 year old site. The back end of our new sit is much more user friendly; hell even I can do the updates myself! Anyway, keep an eye out because the new site is the shit. I'm out! T. O.

Which songs got leaked? Not the 3 he had on his myspace right (bewarned, the beast, jellysickle)?

Does anyone have the songs that leaked that aren't going on the album now? Either way I'm grabbing that shit when it comes out. Anyone who hasn't seen him live or listened to him DO IT!!! When he comes through he plays this small place and it's tight as hell.

LunatiK - September 21, 2006 06:54 AM (GMT)

TECH IN THE STUDIO AS WE SPEAK

I just spoke with Tech due to allot off the comments being said on here about the album release date and people that wish Tech would come on here and say some things...the scoop that I got was this:

Tech himself said that because of all of the leaking of the songs over the net and the downloading of them. He is in the studio this week recording at least 5 new songs for the album...Y'all that are leaking the songs and downloading them are really fucking with his heart and he hates that people would do that to him. So, the muthafuckas that think you have a piece of the album...realize you really ain't got shit. Stop the disrespect...and it doesnt matter that when the album does drop you'll go and get it. Patience is a virtue...learn that.

Tech said that the album will be out in the fall...Due to the fact that he wants an album to be released that not everyone has a part of already...that takes time and due to the fact that they linked some finishing touches with universal. The album WILL NOT be out until fall.

I hope that will kill some of the talk going on about what's up...and I hope that you will see that leaking songs off of someone's not released album is straight fucked up. Especially when it looks to be someone close to you that leaks the shit. Tech said he will get to u y'all when he can but for now...those of you that leaked and downloaded the shit are the reasons that he's busy in the studio and can't get the album to you now.

The Beast, Come Gangsta, My Wife My Bitch My Girl, , Turn, Sleeping Beauty (heard Sleeping Beauty will be replaced w/ a new song).

^ ^ ^ Them are the ones I've heard were leaked. I personally hate to admit to dl Tech's unreleased music but if they aint gonna be on the album anymore then why not? I've got The Beast, Come Gangsta (my favorite!!!), My Wife My Bitch My Girl... but that's all, never did hear sleeping beauty... I heard it was some of Tech's weakest work though. I'm not really sure if I'm missing some that have been released or not, people are keepin' it on the D/L till the Everready is released.

Be Warned (been out for a looong time yo, this is NOT I repeat NOT a new track).
Jellysickle was released on a juggalo fan site quite a while ago too, it was also released on The Regime- All Out War Volume 2 so I don't think it was slated for Everready, but don't quote me on that cuz I'm not 100 % sure. I've got Jellysickle too, its pretty dope.

Hope some of this info helped man, I'm still kinda lost too, but I guess we'll learn more when Everready: The Religion is finally released on NOV. 7th!

Thanx for that info, was she talking about this board or another one (I don't know of any other Tech boards). When I saw Tech at the end of July (not long after I got the 3 songs off the myspace) he played Jellysickle and I'm nearly positive he said it's slated for the album or was anyway. He played 1 or 2 other songs from the album that didn't leak and I remember it being tight as hell. His head was buzzed/shaved down like on the back of Vintage Trch, I'm assuming there's more to this "new look" than what I saw at the last show in July.

I know "my wife, my bitch, my girl" has been around forever, but I never d/l'd it. My friend has it though and I've seen it live the times I've seen him.

Also check out Critical Bill, they tour with tech ALOT and finally signed with him right before they both came through for that July show. I've seen them a BUNCH since they're from here and the guitar player works for the Hayloft where they both always play around here. They have a few albums already and a new one in Jan. with Tech on a track (was awesome live) and Kutt on a remix.

"tonights show is brought to you by extasy our drug of choice" - Tech N9ne before they went on.

SRD420 - September 21, 2006 05:39 PM (GMT)
^ ^ ^ Yeah man, I seen footage of that show w/ Critical Bill cept it was the show here in MN, my homeboy filmed it so I got a copy and shit. They asked everyone who was high. Then they asked everyone who was drunk. Then they asked everyone who was rollin', lol, the crowd went nuts. Shit was funny. Don't care too much for Critical Bill though, PDM either, but that's just me.

Anyways, have you been to therealtechn9ne.com lately? It was recently updated. Otherwise, hit up siccness.net and go to the Strange Music Forum... don't tell them I sent ya there though cuz they get pissy at new-comers, lol, just a heads up yo! The people on that forum have been there from the beginning, I'd say 80 percent of them are vets and the other 20 percent are new comers that ask the same questions over and over which in return really pisses the vets of that board off. Dunno if you were a member of M80 back in the day, but don't ever tell any of them that or you will for sure get your ass hole ripped, lol. Anyways, Tech himself posts on there once in a while so does the rest of the Strange Music Camp including Dena-Kutt's girl, Kutt himself, Travis Oguin... Tech's manager, Skat and Snugbrim, and others who have worked with Tech . That's the best place to go though for the most recent N9ne/Strange Music Artists news. Oh and yeah... Tech's bringin' on a whole nother style for this album, not only is Tech changin up his appearance ... he even gots different producers and shit on this Everready album, I can't wait to hear it in its entirety, its def my most anticpated album of this year!

Oh and Kutt, he's got maaad skills. That dude is like Tech right now when Tech was unkown, I think in due time he will shine just like Tech. I rank the man right up there w/ Tech... dude has def got some talent.

Jon6619 - September 22, 2006 04:43 AM (GMT)
Damn when did his site get updated, I could have sworn I was on there like a week ago or less. I'm for sure gonna take a look at that board. Too bad about the elitist attitude though, it's so lame, but I can understand it in small doses. I never joined m80, but I almost did I believe (i think kmk had it to). Your so right about Kutt though, me and my friend were talking about that after the last show.

I can see parts of Critical Bill that can be uninteresting, but overall I still like em. However I have seen them with my friend like 5 plus times in about a 3-4 month period and the set never changes (98-99% the same). Powerdise (lead singer) was telling me they had to play mostly new shit though cause they had to push the 313 album. I still wanna hear the song Brainz live (as do others), but o well.

SRD420 - September 22, 2006 02:41 PM (GMT)
Yeah, the site was just recently updated, I think it was September 12 or 13, some where around that time. The siccness is the shit though, if you get a chance check out some of the other forums, they're pretty tight. Plus you'll notice a lot of big named underground artists post up on that shit too. That's where I spend most my time these days, I'm either here or there, great place for information though.

SRD420 - September 22, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
Pretty interesting stuff right here...

This comes from IcyRoc Kravyn's Blog... Posted September 18th.

"Tech N9ne has blammed me for leaking his music...Ok lets break it down...If you dont have an ego it doesnt get leaked LOL... the story goes like this..Arron Yates decides he wants to be jocked for the night at a strip club so in a drunken stuper he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a cd then gives it to the dj at a popular strip club...The dj plays the music and everyone is jocking tech n9ne.. it makes tech feel really good about himself girls begin to rally and jock tech wanting to go with him to the back room...LOL he forgets his cd is in the djs booth... the dj says wow i got most of the new tech n9ne record how fucking cool... shit he wont know if i rip this into my computer and so it happens... Tech decides to leave the club and ask the dj for his disc... the dj give it to him and smiles.. tech feels really good about being jocked all night.
A new day comes and the dj decides to give a copy to the club owner who is riding around bumping it after the dj gives it to him...the club owner is chilling feeling good and goes and gets his car detailed ... while in the car detailer the people that clean the cars hear the new shit being played and they are like shit man that the new shit .. Lemme call my nigga .. the phone rings yo my nigga i got the new tech n9ne disc come get this shit and run home and copy it..and bring it back... im gonna take my time and clean this car bro.. hurry up and we can get it... time passes whewwwwww thanks man did you get it copied ? Yeah man cool thanks..
Weeks pass and it gets leaked to the streets and the internet from those sources i described.... Some body im's me and says i got the new tech album and they send the file to me... i get it unzip it and then listen its dope.. wow how the fuck did these people get this shit .. ohh hell i dunno so i got and i give one copy to a friend of mine and he makes a few copies....like maybe 2
now keep in mind that it has already been on the internet and in the streets here in kc...

So im chillin at work at 7th heaven and tech calls me and confronts me about leaking his shit.. we explode on each other on the phone and he calls all kinds of names and shit... he ask me where i got it from i tell him the internet and he tells me im lying... LOL like he has a total company just set up to scan the net for his shit.. LOL
Travis is now talking shit on me and my homies and telling everyone we are fucked up and shit .. but where did it really come from... who is really full of shit... go back to the source who wanted to be jocked and feel like the nigga that night.. if it wouldnt have been for someones ego then it never would have been leaked at all... LOL Then i go to bg bullet wounds myspace page and tech is calling me bitches and shit...... LOL that is some funny shit man i got a good ass laugh off of that one...LOL"

Jon6619 - September 22, 2006 09:13 PM (GMT)
Damn. People were saying a similar thing happened with Axl Rose. He would take songs into the club or play a disc from a big case on his tour bus. Then the artist wonders how music got out, but most of them come from a time when ripping discs didn't exist. I was kinda surprised how mad I hear Tech is getting, but I'm guessing he wants the record to be out before it is offered up for d/l (like his FTI campaign). Plus maybe an album leak would hinder his bargaining with Universal (though if it got mad praise online it could help also).

Exclusive: Tech N9ne Breaks Down His New Album “Everready: The Religion”
Monday - Oct 16, 2006
— Scott Bejda

You would think the rap game is based on skill but if that is the case then how come Tech N9ne is so underrated? How can a rapper who can rap to the beat of a machine gun, rap in quadruple time, and be so creative get overlooked? The true underground fans know how good Tech is, just ask the people who follow his music from KCMO, to the rest of the country and places like Australia and all over the world. If the rap game was really based on talent this man would have sold millions upon millions and be higher up on the hiphop ladder

Siccness: I’m just going to ask one question today homie. Break down “Everready:The Religion?” After you tell us about the album feel free to close it out with what ever else you want to say homie!

Tech N9ne: It starts off with this skit called “Blest” and the reason we spell it B.L.E.S.T. is because there was five of us in a car wreck last year March 23rd ’05. We were coming out of Billings Montana on the way to Spokane Washington on tour with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. There was a blizzard at 8:00 in the morning and the skit tells you how we slid and flipped five times in a fifteen passenger van and everything was totaled but we only had a couple of scratches. The album starts off with that and behind that we have been in God’s graces and ever since then we have been partying hard. The first eleven songs is straight partying from “Riot Maker” to “No Can Do” to “Welcome To The Mid-West” to “Bout To Bubble” to “Jelly Sickle” to Caribou Lou” and the first eleven songs is just bangin’. Everybody has a booty song but I got a titty song called “Flash.” Then I got the song “Night And Day” which was the song I did for the movie “Alpha Dog.” After that you will here a voice say “You are beginning your decent” meaning the album is about to slow down and get dark. The song “Come Gangsta” is dedicated to the people who say “Come Gangsta” then you here this voice say “You have entered The Melancholy Maze” and then you here me, Brotha Lynch, and my boy Delima on the song called “My World” and it is wonderful and it is one of the gems on my album. Then you here “Running Out Of Time” where I am really trying to make this music pop all the way and do something nice for my Mom because she is sick. She has just been diagnosed with Lupus and I just want to hurry up and do something really big for her. Sometimes I wish God would just come down and take his angel because me and my mom don’t belong down here because we love too hard for these people. I got liberate me on my arms for that reason but my kids will keep me here. If it wasn’t for my kids I would be gone brother! “:Running Out Of Time” is about that and the race against time before my mom goes and God takes his angel. I really want to show her that I made it. Right after that there is a song called “The Rain” and I call the road the rain because it is gloomy with out my children. It is about me being on the road touring so much that I miss all my kids birthdays and I just have to send money and gifts. I am on the road hustling for my family! I moved them out to LA two years ago and we live out in Sherman Oaks California where all the big houses are so I have to stay on the road to pay that bill. They are happy out there and don’t want to move back but I’m about to move back out to Kansas City because me and my Wife are separated. Right when we moved out there I had to go on a 56 city tour and I lost her because she felt like I left her hanging out there by herself but I was on the road doing my thing. That is the casualty of the game and I am married to my fans now and “The Rain” is talking about all of that. On that song it has my little girl who spit this when she was eleven and she spit a 16 bar on me on the second verse of “The Rain.” That song is a tear jerker dog! After you leave the Melancholy Maze you hear a voice say “Welcome Back, Party Hard.” Then there is a song called “Fuck’em Girl” with me, Big Kriz Calico, and Kutt Kalhoun just killing. Right after that we got “The Beast” that was on Madden ’06 but this one is the album version. The last song “The King, The Clown, & The G” will explain the whole album concept. The King, The Clown, and The G are all of my characteristics. The King attitude came from me being high headed and they called me a narcissist, but that aint me. They can call me a narcissist because of self love and yeah I love myself, I love God and it is all beautiful. The Clown is the party animal in me and nothing is wrong in the eyes of this nigga like partying with many bitches, ecstasy, liquor and doing all kinds of crazy shit. The G recognizes family values and is somebody that went thru a lot of shit in the past and knows family values. Then the android voice says “Goodbye.” I just walked you thru the whole album homie. Then there is a bonus disc called “Strange Music Library” and it has music from all of us. We are all on there killing it! It is just extra music man. Now I just want to tell people two words “Celebrate Life.”
