they could never use step as a track for suburban noize because it is property of koch records

step is one of the songs that hed submitted to koch for consideration of oia - when koch cut it from oia there were a lot of pissed off fans - so koch said they may use it as an extra track for a japan release or some shit - that was posted on hedrocks

so no suburban could never release that track

the song IS property of koch and it was recorded

originally it was going to be on oia and was part of the tracklisting but was scrapped before the songs were mastered

when that happened koch realized fans were pissed about it from feedback on hedrocks

since it was too late to add it back to the cd - to appease fans - koch said they were going to use it as a bonus track for the oia import - which we all know never happened

i know all this because for a while there i had a contact at koch that i corresponded with via email and stepping stone was a regular topic
