don't really know what the author meant but I don't like the comparison to Limp Bizkit...
A little complex guitar action - hard, yet simple, beat of the drums. (hed) P.E. has a lead singer that yells a lot, but the "singing" he does reminds me of a Papa Roach wanna-be. This is the new-age punk rock 'n' roll that is common among the youth these days: a hard guitar and smooth moving bass go along well with some medium paced drums. The band fits nicely into the niche already prepared for them by Limp Bizkit, A Perfect Circle, Korn, etc. Which makes this CD among the many in a pile that will soon be out of style. The lead singer knows what is expected of him when he raps or yells, whatever you hardcore new-age rockers call his "singing." Broke exposes (hed) P.E.'s talent to be what everyone else wants it to be, but hey, they're good at it!
