I used to be big into videogames , but nowadays just lost interest.
the whole xboxlive vibe with silly 13 yr old punks who can't stop swearing and obviously don't have any control over there vocal cords wasn't really my thing anymore..

I do plan on upgrading back to gold some time.
but for now I'm okay with checking movies , and clearing al my old PS2, NGC titles.

I hope you'll buy Left 4 Dead come November (or whenever it's released by you). Or even Far Cry 2. We gotta get some action going sometime soon. Besides, you don't gotta play online to be into games. I hardly ever play online anymore. Once all the good games start coming out in October, that will change, though.

agree with above releases , and on the whole offline thing.. like stated , I am still clearing my old PS2 and NGC titles..actually working my way through God of War 2 as we speak..

and I want to point out that I'm really stoked about the upcoming star wars game "the force unleashed"

Well apparently the Force Unleashed demo sucked quite a bit, so I wouldn't expect anything that good from it. I kinda bummed that Too Human turned out to be shitty, too. I was looking forward to it a lot, but then the demo came out, and it was pretty bad. Then it got a lot of negative reviews. And then there's the fact it's only 10 hours long.

Im looking forward to Rock Band 2 and GH World Tour

but from what I've seen and heard it was a revolutionary engine,
almost sandbox esque.. since you can destruct literaly everything in your enviroment.

anyways I just picked up SKATE for like 30 euros,

I did end up playing The Force Unleashed demo yesterday, and it seems all of the negative things I've heard about it are true. There are a lot of problems with this game. Horrific and erratic camera which makes using force powers a pain in the ass. A broken lock-on system, which locks on to the nearest box instead of enemy. And seeing as how the environments are absolutely cluttered with pointless boxes and containers, it gets quite frustrating. The combat system is kind of bland and not very fluid either, but there are some pretty cool moves and the force powers are kind of fun to use. It seems too easy, as well. Overall though, this game doesn't seems like anything more than a below-average hack n' slash game with a Star Wars skin. I guess if you go head over heels for anything Star Wars, you'll like it. But as a general gamer, I didn't find anything overly appealing about it.

We should set up a game soon, though. The only one of those I have is CoD4, which I haven't played in awhile. I wouldn't mind getting back into it, however. I do have GTA4 too, but like you said, the mulitplayer sucks.

I can't wait for Far Cry 2's multiplayer. I'm looking forward to creating some crazy fucking maps.

i love multiplayer on gta4... it could be funner if they had some new things added in.. But its still fun forsure

I don't have the new maps either. I doubt I'll ever get them since I don't play it really anymore. But yeah, I'll definately play with you guys if I have any free time. I probably will over the weekend, so let me know.
