List some of your ideas of things you would like to see in the new (hed) p.e. fansite project. Yours could end up being part of it! Make them reasonable, though.

1.) Pictures of how the line up changed through out the years.
2.) All the art work from the CD's, cassettes and vinyl.
3.) gallery of hed merch (old and new)
4.) Concerts that can be watch/download (I said before I'd would do this for you guys)
5.) Links to other fan pages

I'll think of more later.

All I know is I hope the new forum has a search function for each section.

I asked numerous times on this board if we could alphabetize or have a search function for the "Heavy Metal" section so we could keep everything in one topic rather than making 5 topics for one band or having to search 20 some pages just to find what you're looking for.

That's my only request as of right now... if anything else comes to mind I'll let ya know.

A name some section's after songs. "killing time" could be like games/videos or something.

I second what SRD420 said. It's a little annoying when there's more than one topic on an Artist and when the name of the topic isn't the Artistes name.

Good ideas, I've been thinking about it too since it's hard to find good quality photos and artwork. And it'd be nice to have all these things in one place :)

Keep it to believable things though, aka (half reptilian political and corporate leaders) come on, that shit makes people laugh at you when you are trying to enlighten their minds.

...i dont know if you can do this...but can you live stream hed's myspace bulletins or things that they post for all their myspace friends to see as a little box in the lower left corner of the site?

I know we talk about that stuff on here sometimes, but I really don't think that's a good idea(no offense). It will start too many arguments. Beside's it doesn't have to much to do with the band itself.

I reckon it would be interesting to discuss conspiracy theories, sure it will lead to arguments but so will the reviews on the new album etc etc etc ha we're all a bunch of stubborn assholes that wanna get our opinion across...there's always gunna be arguments, in the long run they're completely harmless. I find all conspiracy theories interesting except for that bullshit about George Bush and his associates being shape shifting reptillian blue bloods from within the same 13 blood lines that came from some distant planet and live inside the Earth WTF man, that shits for J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling, makes it hard to take Jah seriously when he talks about that shit! Having a section where we can stream live shows like DRD and (hed) pe live on Craig Kilborn, shit like that. A band member detailed bio would be very cool too, on all members past and present, and when I say detailed I mean detailed, right down to the nitty gritty of the character cause I find that shit interesting. How about having an "ask the band" section.
Here we could post questions to the band which we can't answer
among ourselves.
However that would mean getting current/ex-members on side.
Tiny and The Finga pop into mind for that one.

I think you should have a calendar with everything that
is related to (hed) on it. e.g. Show dates, Release dates, Birthdays,
Online show dates.

Also a promotion/street team for the board itself would be good,
I mean there hasn't exactly been very good promotion for this board,
few online banners were ever made and we've only had a trickle of
new members.

What springs to mind is the great opportuinty we have missed of
promoting the site at shows. If we could get flyers/leaflets/stencils
drawn up and printed then before or after shows you could just go down
the whole crowd/que of people and promote towards hundreds of people
at a time.

Anyway thats just a few suggestions :)

I think we all should do the same thing for our new community.

i also like that idea about getting more details of every member and questions for current/ex members
i'd like to see more genres (funk, punk, reggae, electronic, metal subgenres like death, nu, metalcore, thrash, industrial etc.)
and some fun games such as (hed) vs (whatever band) or something
just to get people entertained
and i think it would be a good idea to have some part where you can give your interpretation of a (hed) song lyrically
not it's actual meaning but how you percieve the message

Well it's not something that would be IMPOSSIBLE. Obviously if we were to do something like that, we would have rules that would prevent people from just signing up to win. The biggest problem lies with the fact that first, we would actually have to have something worth giving away that someone would be willing to get rid of. We have talked a little bit about contests before, but not too much. If we could ever figure out a good way to do them, we might consider it.

It's just something that would be fun for all the memeber to enjoy. The contest should be hed related, the website is going to be about hed pe after all. It would atract new memebers, and hopefully they would still and post on the forum.

really don't care about the whole conspiracy-thingy. i think it shouldn't be portrayed on the page in such a way that people would get the impression that the whole band are into that shit.

i don't really think everything from this board should be put into the new site. a new site is a good way to clean up and update album sections and such.

but what they could do (even though itd take a while lol)
is go through all the topics (new and old)
and just get all the good-to-know facts/conversations
and put them in some topics in a section on the new forum
so if we need to know something that we knew that was on the old forum
we could just go to that section and search

I'm for the fresh start, but I think there is a way to copy this whole forum and like put it on a disc if you want all the info.
