As you all may have noticed, this site has been falling apart in the last few months. With Hed Til I Die not around, there is nothing the mod team can do to change/fix this site. We've tried contacting him multiple times about appointing us moderators so we can take control of the site and make it a better place, but he has not responded to any of our emails or messages, desptie the fact that he comes around here a few times a week. We don't know exactly why he hasn't said anything back to us, but we are pretty sick of watching this place continually slip as more and more problems build up.

We have waited patiently, but the time for that has come and gone. We want this community to be better, and I'm sure all of you do as well. That said, the rest of the team and I have been discussing recently what actions we should take, and we all agreed upon something needing to be done ASAP. We have some pretty big things in store that we are very excited to get going and let all of you see. It's too early to go into details at this time, but be assured that we are dedicated to bringing you the best (hed) p.e. fansite around, with new features and content for all to enjoy.

As much as I hate to say it, some serious sacrifices have to be made in order for the changes to happen, but believe us when we say that it will be totally worth it in the long run. There really is not much more I can say at this time, except that another update with hopefully more specific info will be on it's way sooner rather than later. Until then, everyone just sit tight. I suck at GD, but if you guys need any ideas of what to put on the site I always have lots of ideas. I always thought it would be cool to upload (hed) concerts to a site like veoh, were you can watch and download them. I'd be more than happy to do it for you.

yea actually..veoh is a good place...if its all legal...they basically keep it up there for forever....positive sides are super fast + quality streaming and fast downloads.

And look, I used to love it too. Back in the days, but those days are gone and it's time to move on. And I don't really care if it's hedplanet or a brand new board. I just thought it might help to just move there, 'cause it really is a well made board to me.

It's a fine board. But we are looking to start something brand new , because we WANT to create something different ourselves in our vision, using our ideas. We are also looking beyond just a forum. It's going to be bigger than that. Much bigger. So like I said, I'm not giving anything more away right now, because it's far too early. But I will say that when it's all finally done, you guys will love it.

when the time comes how do we delete our accounts on this board? i am sick of leaving a trail of unused accounts all over the place because there is no simple way to get rid of them.

We'd like to keep the bigger details under wraps for awhile for several reasons. One of them is, as you guessed it, surprise. No, we're not going wait until the site finished before telling all, but it'd be nice to have some surprises when it is finally up and running. Just trying to get people's attention with this matter and build some hype. As I've already stated, more info will be released soon. The other reason is that we don't want to tell everyone that we are going to have something really cool, when it turns out that later on we can't include said feature because of some sort of complication. Do you have a problem with any of that?

Why would you need to delete your account? That won't make any sort of difference. Besides, only an administrator can do that.

I would say that trying to make something more than a set of forums is pointless.

There are/have been plenty of (hed) websites which have been perfectly
fine but failed over the years. Going down that path is bad news...

E.g. hedperulez.tk , hedpe.co.uk

Now those websites were pefectly good and very well made,
however everything there and more could be found on these forums.

If anything if you were wanting to have the a set of forums and a website
intertwined I would contact somewhere such as hedpe.ru and ask
about possibly joining with them.

We have already asked the hedpe.ru team to assist us, and they have agreed.

And where do you get off telling us that making something bigger is automatically going to fail. We don't plan on that happening. The other sites failed for a reason. We are actually fully dedicated to this project and want to see it succeed, and that's exactly what we intend to do. And it's pointless? If you're happy with a forum that is continuing to build up with problems and fall apart and don't want to be a part of the new site, then be my fucking guest and stay here. I don't give a flying fuck. But I would appreciate it if you would stop questioning what we are doing and why, when you have no idea what exactly is going on.

Incase you haven't noticed, all of the posting icons are gone. They are no longer being hosted to this site. The banners could go at any day. We still have problems with spam, so security is virtually non-existant. HTID is not around at all anymore. So there are no administrators left to actually take care of the site. Who knows when the last time he paid for the domain name? This site will eventually go offline. There are tons of problems with this place in it's current state. In short, this place is a fucking mess. I guess a lot of you haven't belonged to forums before, but this is not the way they are supposed to be. On top of that, a lot of people would like to see certain features here that we simply cannot include because of all this.

u should set something up... just get everyone to send their ideas in.. u the mods cud pick the best ideas and make that in to a new site, or some preview kinda stuff... and get a poll about that...?

Okay, I made a thread where people can list their ideas for the new site. We've come up with quite a few cool things already, so if someone can come up with something we haven't thought of, then kudos to them.

What makes you think we wouldn't take this seriously? The whole idea is for the site to have things for everyone to enjoy, not just the people making it. And with the plans we have for it, it's virtually impossible for everyone not to dig it.
