Hed P.E. is an awful band. In keeping with their awful nu-metal songs they’ve just released an awful nu-metal DVD in which they try and convince the world they have anything to do with punk rock. At least I think that’s what they were trying to do before their dealer showed up and the focus went to how stoned the dudes are all the time. Some quick numbers for you; this “punk” band says the words “fag, homo, faggot, or queer” at least 25 times and references or smokes pot 30 times in an hour of crappy staged “candid footage” and awful faux-punk rap metal live clips. My fiancée observed that the best thing about this DVD and CD package is that it would keep Hed P.E. fans off the street for a few hours. I can’t say I disagree with her, but at least dudes who think I.C.P. is “dope” are probably stoked on this. Beware.

Wow. Is that supposed to be professional in any way? Because that's one of the most immature things I've read in awhile. (hed) p.e. haven't been anything close to nu-metal for years, so calling them that today is pretty much irrelevant. Try actually listening to the music. Or if you don't like it, why bother reviewing it at all? I wouldn't even call this a review. It's more like some dickbag's attempt at letting everyone know his bias towards the band. Even going so far as insulting the band's fanbase. Guess what? ICP are a couple of brain-damaged assholes with no musical talent, so lumping them in with (hed) makes no sense. I can't believe the website even allowed this garbage to be posted as an official review. It has nothing to do with the fact that it's even negative. Blabbermouth's review of OIA is better than this, both in structure and in score, and I actually agree with a lot of it, despite the fact that it's a negative review. But this shit is just a pathetic mess. Please learn how to properly write a review.
And judging by some of the other shit he's reviewed/listens to, he has no place bashing (hed).

the band's fanbase could have gotten me to change the review if every other complaint email about it didn't call me a faggot or threaten to rape my fiancee and show her what a real man is. thanks for at least not doing that.

Yeah I once read a review in Blunt magazine about OIA and it was pretty similar to the above review comparing them to ICP and saying they were a shitty nu metal band. And I didn't get it I mean OIA is one of their best albums.
