That's awesome news. On top of that, they even got Tommy Vext for vocals. He was good in Divine Heresy.
On a side not, Invitro taking a "hiatus" does not sound good. They better not break up.

it sounds great , but to me snot only has one frontman..

Mikey said that they are not sure if they are going to be going under the name Snot.

W00t! This is awesome news. I hope they can still make great music even without Lynn.

I just saw in a MySpace bulletin that the new front man for Snot (Tommy Vext) recently got into an altercation backstage where he lashed out at a man and hit his wife.
I know it's only MySpace, so it's not the most credible source on Earth, but if it's true, that's really fucked up!!
Here's her blog entry:

Yeah I heard about that today too. That was Dino Cazaras's (Divine Heresy guitarist) wife. I've heard he was a dick and a total moron, but then again, so is Dino. Still, that is pretty fucked up.

I only started listening to snot this year so I guess its kind of a good thing if they make a new cd, but I don't think the music will be as good without Lynn Strait. Get Some is such an awesome cd and Lynn Strait was an awesome singer.

Lynn is a fuckin Legend ain't no way you can replace him.I really hope they don't choose to use the name "Snot" cause it just ain't the same.

Snot has a new song up on their myspace page its called the band plays on it sounds pretty good, but not as good as their stuff with Lynn Strait.

@ serpent boy ,
yeah that press kit also used to be on the tribute cd,
I own that cd, seeing that vid brings back memories haha.
they have a new song up
"couldashouldawoulda" it sounds okay , this dude sounds like a mixture between that second vocalist drowning pool had and keith caputo from life of agony during river runs red era..
"the band plays on"
sound way more like the old school snot, especially the bridge, that funky shit rocks.
but lynn had this *thing* to his sound that this dude isn't even getting close to,
don't get me wrong , I'm happy as fuck we can expect a new snot cd now,
and it doesn't sound bad at all..
but something just doesn't feel *right* I'm not able to put a finger on the spot ya know?
anyway I'm just waiting and seeing how this will turn out..
