joeolive1234 - July 9, 2008 05:29 AM (GMT)
sounds pretty cool.

MadMadMan565 - July 9, 2008 05:39 AM (GMT)
lol care to elaborate?

lax3b - July 9, 2008 05:44 AM (GMT)
Damn I was going to start a topic on this (figured it was to early). I will elaborate for him/her, lol.

Everyone discuss what you would like to see it the upcoming DiY Guys - Episode 2.

I would like to see more of the other band members talk.
More about the band.
Less groupie's, alcohol, weed bullshit.
Jah to have a plan when talking about conspiracy.

I'll add more as I think.

EDIT: Maybe this should be moved to (hed) chat and posted in important topics, with the new album thread?

MadMadMan565 - July 9, 2008 05:50 AM (GMT)
i figured it was about the second DIY
but all he said was Episode 2, sounds pretty cool

But yeah, i havent even watched the first yet haha
I have it, but ive been listening to the CD
and havent had time to watch it yet

Ill explain what id like
After i watch the first one

(mat)pe - July 9, 2008 09:10 AM (GMT)
I would like to see more of the band talk and not just Jahred talk, I would like to see Jahred give us his opinion about ex (hed) pe members but I doubt that will happen. I can't wait to see the 2nd one.

Broke2012 - July 9, 2008 06:37 PM (GMT)
oh man, i haven't even got the first one and there's already a second one in the planning

Fatkid - July 11, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
unfortunately you will never get to see other members speak as this is Jah's band and he wants to be the superstar and the other guys are not going to bite the hand that feeds. The closest you are going to get to Jah speaking about ex members was the Bubba show when he went off about Wes.

Well if they want to release another DVD I just hope that they take their time and hire some professional video editors so that it comes out awesome. And this time I hope they play a full live show. I just hope it doesn't come out next year.

id like to have a whole live show too with more songs and even rants because sometimes the rants are pretty funny unless ther boring like the conspiracies

and about the editing, they wont hire pro video editors becasuse
1.its the DIY guys (do it yourself)
2.they wouldnt bother spending all that money
but we can hope for pro editing, im with ya mr sin

Yeah I guess that would be ironic if they hired someone do do the video editing. But still I want more songs performed live. On the CD all they had was 7 live songs!! That made me flip. Where's Firsty? Where's Raise Hell? Where's Bartender and Killing Time for fucks sake? I hope that the next D.i.Y. episode is better than this mediocre first one.

I figured that was the case. If I was a member of the band, I'd quit for that reason.

Dude didn't you ever stop to think that there is a reason the other band members don't speak often. They most likely like to keep it low key. I'm sure they like their privacy. Look at Tool man. Those guys barely ever come into the light of a camera.

Fatkid - July 13, 2008 06:02 PM (GMT)
There is alot more to why Wes, Chad and BC left. You could probably end up doing one of those behind the music things on the band. But I will confirm that one of the reasons those 3 left was because of Jah's ego and wanting to control everything about the band.

Yeah I have thought about that, that probably is another reason. But Fatkid is right too.

I heard Devin left because of jah being a dick.

Fatkid - July 14, 2008 01:24 AM (GMT)
Devin had alot of personal stuff going on at home which came before the band.

heard the same thing

id believe fatkid over whatever that came from though

hed_2012 - July 14, 2008 06:57 AM (GMT)
I've spoken to all the band members (as I'm sure many of us have) and none of them appear low key man. In fact if anything it seemed like Mawk was only too happy to speak to the camera, same goes for Jaxon. The only band member that I consider to be quite low-key is Product. I heard the same thing about Jah being a dick- a guy actually recorded the dispute allegedly. :hedpe self-titled: :hedpe self-titled: :hedpe self-titled:

Not true. He had family issues and (hed) needed a replacement drummer fast. And now we have Tiny, a full member.

Yeah, I would take fatkid's word for it also, lol, I not to sure with my source.

Fatkid - July 14, 2008 10:55 PM (GMT)
Devin would have stayed on but he had some personal matters to deal with, the band had a lot of touring commitments that they did not want to back out on and the band would have lost a lot of money they put in and a lot of money they would be making. Devin understood that and respected that, as far as I know there was no kind of issue between Jah and Devin as they are still good friends. Tiny is a great drummer and very versatile hopefully he stays on board as the drummer I am a fan of his drum work in Hed as well as TSOL.

Pure Blood - July 15, 2008 05:43 PM (GMT)
I would like to see more of the band as well. Maby in an extra feature section, have a personal interview with each.

I would also like to here more about the conspiracies. I find it fascinating, and have done much research myself on the mater. It would blow your mind if you took the time and looked into some shit.

I like the sex, drugs, and WeeD. Like it, Love it, and Want more of it.

I think the skits were asome as well and like the idea. But i agree that there should be more verity in the live songs. Longer, Harder, Rougher.

Other then that the DIY is great. I give them props for creating it, and would hate to see it done professionally due to it taking away from the whole DIY idea. if you were to make a DVD professionally i would Title it differently.

please no...there are so many other interesting topics to talk/sing about, so why stick to one only when there is already so much about it?
And I don't mean just sex, drugs & weed, like you said. They used to have cool songs about life, like Revelations, Waiting To Die or Tired Of Sleep. I'm not saying that political songs are totally bad, I like Suffa and Habeus very much, I just wish they introduced some variety and maybe tried to return to what thy did on Broke or Blackout...

i think he was talking about just in the DVD, like them actually talking about conspiracies
Not the lyrical content of new songs

but nonetheless i agree
id like a variety of songs
