Title: Fort Minor

lozz - July 3, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
The rising tied is a fresh original album.

Mike Shinoda proves that he can compete it as a proper MC.
Fresh clean beats and some amazing collaborations sixx john celph titled etc.

Mike is a lyrical genious I swear.
Lyrics about his grandparents being put into interment camp in world war II,
on the track Kenji are hard hitting. Most tracks tell a story.

Anyway I highly reccomend this album.
And if you don't like LP then still buy this!

Yeah, Fort Minor rocks.

I'd recommend Celph Titled more, though.
His shit's witty, and it actually makes me laugh.

yeah his texts are impressive!
That song Kenji is sick! Always when I'm listening to the text I get goosebumps! it's really hard hitting!

I tried listening to this when it came out in 05 I think? But yeah I didn't like it. I liked Mike Shinoda then (dont like him anymore) so I had an open mind about this album, but when I listened to the CD, it was to poppy for me.

The song "Be Somebody" stands out as well because of the positive message involved, as well as the beat of course! If you ever feel like a piece of shit, or like someone is holding you back, just listen to that song and you'll feel better.
