(hed) p.e. Fans has just about reached it's 1000th member. Quite a milestone. Although I am a bit hesitant to celebrate this, considering a large chunk of the members are deactivated spam-bots, it's still great to see this site getting recognition from the people that actually have joined. It's been fantastic being part of this tight-knit community from the beginning, none of which would have been possible without HITD. So in addition to celebrating our 1000 members, I would also like to thank HITD for creating this site and allowing us discuss our favorite band, among other things. I've met a lot of awesome people here, and I hope to be around to see another 1000 join our ranks.

Nicely said there Shaq. I think its quite an honor to be part of board that is all about respecting one another and tolerating one another's beliefs in addition to all of that, most importantly, celebrating a truly awesome bad-ass band, (hed) P.E. and having our rants and raves about them. I would also like to thank my fellow moderator homies that keep this board as clean and legit as possible and to all of the members for being really down to earth (yes, even you Hex).

But most importantly HED TILL I DIE who took the time and effort to make this a dope ass forum that we have all grown to love and log into everyday to discuss and have fun! Peace to all my fellow (hed) P.E. buddies!

1,000 members is something I would have never thort of happenning when I set up the site! I originally created the site in Dec 2005, it was set up after (hed) had released OIA, when they had no site, before they joined subnoize, when know one had a clue where hed planet earth had actually gone, they had disapeared off the planet, there was no news on (hed) at all, I wanted to discuss about (hed)pe with other fellow fans but could not seem to find any messageboards where really discussions were taking place, all I could find is mesaage boards on artist pages on sites like artistdirect.com etc, with nothing really been said or anything relatively active, I decided to set up my own mesage board, I had problem of how to find fans, I never was a member of myspace but signed up and started manually messaging people who had mentioned like hed pe on their myspace/ were friends with (hed)/ in (hed) myspace groups, at the time there was no domain name iwe just had a url I went around spending ages pming people this url in hope to get some people to join, I seem to remember that Shakz, SR420 and Serbian Striker were amongst these first people that still seem to float around today. The site at the begining had no real banner at first just the simple (hed) logo in centre, there was a topic made for discussion/poll on what domain name for site could be and hedpefans.com came out on top, I purchased the domain name Jan/Feb time and have been renewing yearly ever since and will continue to do so, I never believed that the site would expand so big and bring so many people together for the love of music, the expansion is tremendous, really proud of what it has become, the work at the begining was really worth it.

You may have noticed I have been away for a while but that is because I struggle to access internet/have time at moment, I have never dissapeared always around believe that, I am glad that we have a team of mods that can look after the board and keep it clean and carry onto support.

2 years on and still going strong, look after yourselfs and like I say
hedpefans.com is going nowhere guys, here to stay.
