hed's always talkin bout punk music and other punk stuff and what not in the songs, so why not have a punk section in other music ??

punk is my favorite genre of music and im sure im not the only punk lover here,
to bad you dont really hear about new punk bands, only damn emo bands...its all good tho

Wanna talk punk...I'll talk punk all day long! The new Bad Religion is really good; the new Buck-O-Nine album is pretty good too (not yet released) they are more ska infused with punk.

Sure, I'm always into hearing new music. To be honest the closest thing to real punk I listen to is actually Hed. So I'd love to be suggested bands to listen to. I'm more of a metal kind of guy but certain things do intrigue me.

We should just have a section called, "Rock".

These days many bands cannot be put into a specific genre; I find myself making up genres while describing certain bands; Music Is Evolving headbanger

on the punk subject, i think sub noize screwed up in that subject, they let Authority Zero go, they got potential, were lookin at a mix of rancid n bad religion here

They still have the band Last Laugh, whom are decent punk rock ;)

Bad Religion is a band I was listening to when I was 8 years old; I would probably like anything they put out; I prefer the new album to "The New America" for instance. Their new album on certain songs remind me of The Exploited and shit; no reason to laugh at it; but hey, I am all for opinions about music, so no worries waiting-to-die :HEDEMOTICON3:

Time Again is really good; really old school rancid sound (vox sound a lot like Tim :o )

You know who else is fuckin' good is Western Addiction; they're a Fat Wreck "Super Group" or whatever, and their album "Cognicide" is sick as fuck.

punk isn't a sound it's a belief system almost for some people. truth be told most punk nowadays is pop disguised with guitars. the only real punk bands that are left are (hed) and AMEN.

yep, it's the simplest form of metalcore, but as time has moved, people call it just 'beatdown hardcore', 'moshcore', 'heavy hardcore', 'tough guy hardcore' etc... metalcore has whole new meaning now :)

every genre out there now has a "core" to the ending of that and thats awsomee cuz i love punk but now everything is goin pop-punk so now we got those tru playas of punk creating punk-core

i also love ska...ska with a edge, "ska-core" the best of ska core is The Flaming Tsunamis!!! they got that ska feeling but with a metal vox!!

I was commenting the genre of Death Before Dishonor, they are more metal-core than HC.

When this metal-core started, I was very into it. But know there is a lot of metal-core groups that don"t fucking know what da fuck metal-core is! To soft and a lot of them are emo shit...
