we did

like how was that?
Mawk:
overseas was awesome - we did like 19/20 days in england alone, we also went to germany and to italy and to switzerland and portugal and we drank so much gud red wine, for about a month and a half. was great dude. and then we flew back into DC and jumped rite on the papa roach tour. that runs to til christmas.
Marcus:
awesome man, awesome. how bout u jaxon - how was that for you?
Jaxon:

haha awesome man , awesome. you guys just recently signed with Suburban Noize how was is the transition to going to an independent label like SN, from goin to a bigger labels such as Jive and Koch?
Mawk:
well, it was an easy transition. one was jive was in the late 90s, early 2000 was one of the major labels, was at its peak and then the whole scene changed. you have people copying CDs, people downloading music and the old dinosaur labels like all the majors were struggling. you know, we got dropped - we left jive. we saw a lot of bands that were still with major labels and struggling. they cant get crowds into the shows. we hooked up with suburban. suburban has this huge street level following, big clothing company with a record label tied in together. its the only time u can ever go to a concert and see the kottonmouth kings and hed pe and u hear the kids yellin "suburban noize", they're yellin the record label. you never hear anybody yellin "warne bros" or "sony" - it just doesnt happen. suburban noize is so intouch with the street. it's a blessing for us to hav hooked up with them.
Marcus:
awesome man, awesome. alrite, so whats the atmosphere like on suburban noize? how has that been for u guys so far?
Mawk:
It's ... the closest thing we ever had to a family. on a major label, in days gone by, the tell us: "you christmas present is, you guys get to record a new album" and they make us feel like, like we had to be so grateful. we moved to suburban noize and its like having this job-security. all you guys gonna go on tour from may to december, then you guys gonnna write a new album,
gonna hit the studio in march, the album is gonna
drop in april and you're going
back on road in may and you gonna continue this. it's like fuck man. it's like we got job security as a musician, something you dont really hav on a bigger label.
Marcus:
that's awesome. that is awesome!

if u ever look at the suburban noize artist rasta. you know all the artist together - look at the album tracks. you got every suburban noize artist guesting on everbody elses album. its just a huge family. in fact, jahred is on several suburban noize artists' albums. Big B is on OPM's, he's on kottonmouth kings', his own release.
Marcus:
alrite i guess this question is for jahred actually, on the new album it's about the illuminati, new world order on that record. what influenced you guys to write about it?
Mawk:
well, when we were recording back to base x we hooked up with a producer that works a lot with suburban noize, his name is Patrick Shevelan and he just turned us onto so much stuff that just opened our eyes to whats really in the world. like we watched the mainstream news everyday and we grew up to think that, that's the truth and tellin u whats going on. its a crap of shit. what's really going on is the world is controlled by a small minority of very,very powerful people. the illuminati is one word to describe 'em, an alter name of their group. and they are controlling everything. they control the wars, because they profit hugely from wars.
all we were trying to do is to open people's eyes. that they go and research this for themselves, whats really going on and stand up - make ur voice heard. vote. just cry out for change! you know, people are dying all around the world because of this small minority is trying to force an arms race, trying profit from weapons and death. you can hear jahred talking about it on our new album - NOC - you can hear a line saying 'this secret is hidden in plain view' it's all around us. what they are really doing, but they disguise it. all we wanna do is wake people up, go to
