Some are Victorian, some are modern, some are classical, some are Spanish. Their owners, however, are slightly less eclectic.

Brotherhood Fortress The large mansion home to the members of the Brotherhood. It is something of a base of operations for everyone involved in the fight against the X-Men and their underlings. The estate, commonly referred to as HQ by members of the brotherhood, is nothing short of a fortress. Resembling a hotel in many ways, it is decorated in a California art-deco style. Dark reds, purples, blues, and greens are the colors of choice for the building. The tile, walls, and even furniture all goes together flawlessly by no work of anyone other than Magneto and Mystique themselves.

Brooklyn Bridge The Brooklyn Bridge, completed in 1883, is a world-renowned suspension bridge that opened for vehicular traffic in June of the year it was completed. Known around the world as a symbol of New York, it is a tourist attraction, often surrounded by thick fog. It is a busy bridge used by citizens of New York on a fairly regular basis. For those with a teleportation power, it also works famously as a meeting spot. If you want to hang out and witness a spectacular view, head to the very top. You won't regret it!

New York Underground Used mostly for the subway system, the Underground area of New York is a busy center for citizens from all walks of life. The subways can get you close to almost anywhere and are almost always busy, but secrets beneath the surface lurk about. The sewer system is one of the most popular methods of quick transportation for the brotherhood members of New York. With the rising force coming about, members from all across the world have been gathering. The sewers, thought not always their place of residence, are the quickest and darkest way for them to get where they're going in the daytime without being caught.

NY Daily The office of New York's favorite newspaper, it is always filled with busy journalists. They're always competing for the best story and will stop at nothing to get it. With creative and resourceful writers, it has become very well known--almost as much as the LA Times and the Washington Post. If writing is the career path for you, come in and attempt to get a job from the editor.

Space Needle The observation deck may not have the best view in New York, but on a sunny day, the 360-degree panorama is stunning. Head directly to the outside railings, where maps mounted around the rim will tell you which mountain and skyscraper is which. But the best source of information is your glass-elevator guide on the 43-second trip to the top: The Space Needle hires out-of-work actors and comedians who dare you to stump them with any question about the city..

Five Stars Five Stars is the most popular club in New York. It is located on 57th Street in a large building. For the hipsters of New York, it's the hot spot. The interior of the club is decorated in deep reds and blacks. There is a large dance floor in the middle, which lights up different colors. If you're looking for a hangout, this big and spacious club is it. Five Stars is the perfect place to meet people or just have fun. It is run by Brennan Carmichael, a member of the X-Men.

Balthazar A popular restaurant among the oldest and youngest citizens of New York, Balthazar is known for its delicious meals and even better service. 10 years ago, they stepped up their standards and ended up obtaining a five star rating, which is difficult to do in New York. The chefs are creative and innovative and the food is amazing as a result of that. Besides a few modernizations, they have kept the same basic look as they had back when they first started.

The Daily Dose A small, cozy cafe known for its amazing brews. Whether you're a coffee lover or not, the Daily Dose has something for you. From mochas to smoothies, they have it all. They have fairly decent service, but most people stick to their own corners. For the college students of New York and anyone with a laptop, there is also free wireless internet throughout. In the back is a bar with a very small area for local bands to perform their music.

Yao's Herb Shop As stated in the name, this quaint little place is perfect for all your herbalist needs. From wiccans who need ingredients to potions to people interested in aphrodisiacs, this store has it all. On the outside you wouldn't expect much. It's in a shoddy area of China Town, but the inside is kept to immaculate standards. While it's a little cluttered, it's only because he has so many different products. It can get a little pricey, but does the future of good really have a price?

Quad Cinema The local theater is anything but a hop skip and away. Located on a busy intersection, this prominant stand fosters some of the world's hit blockbusters. The locals come here because the popcorn and treats are just a bit cheaper than other competitors. It's worth the trade seeing as how the seats aren't in mint condition to say the least.

Time Square This is where hustling and bustling is born. The traffic amist it's non-stop movements flows at a steady enough pace. Branching off into a split flow that branches to seperate parts of the city. Without much effort this could be one of the most well populated areas in all of New York. Trying to get one of those desirable taxis to stop for you however is a feat all itself.

Spring Hill Suites To save a dollar your best bet is to make a reservation here. There's no definite request that you won't be sleeping with the cockroaches...but the majority that rent a room from this place aren't aiming to sleep. A comfortable enough bed is given to those with the appropriate price range.

Grace Cathedral Velvet flooring and stain glass windows aren't the only thing that bring this church to live. The Jesus sculptures and paintings that loiter the walls give this heavenly spot a touching feel. Candles are lit throught most of the day as the pastor is not far away. To come and claim a lost soul is God's ultimate goal.

Zoe's Skating Ring During the winter this place is usually always busy. The calm waters freeze over allowing guests to mingle and frolick in a winter type escape. The ice is cool when wet and has a wide area, depening on how much you plan on skating. Open for most parts of the day, you can pick the time where traffic is a bit more managable through the winter trenches.

Deer Crest Forest Deer Crest Forest, a wooden area full of thousands upon thousands of trees. Some of them have leaves that fall when winter nears, and others have "needles" that stick around for all seasons. They are all different in their own way and tend to look magnificent when stood next to, some of them being very small or incredibly huge, with brown trunks of treasure.

Long Beach This beach is a little hard to get to, being at a lower level then the fields of grass that covers New York, but still able to walk down to with the use of a small passage that trails down a large, jaggged, and grass covered cliff. The water here is magnificent (the ocean being overly healthy in these parts), and it is the color of the lightest blue ever seen, almost crystal. Long Beach itself is made of soft sand that is a light beige color and is full of all sorts of different shells as well as smooth drift wood. The shoreline seems to curve downward, the powerful waves having beaten down on it so much that the Beach is actually leveled, going in the down direction towards the water.

Central Park The ground is paved with cobblestone (each one differently shaped) and proves to feel very hard, yet very inviting to tired feet. In the center of the park is a large statue that also serves as a fountain with a small stone wall circling it. It is the memorial of a very famous mayor, who was standing confidantly at the time. Small trees and colorful flowers circle the courtyard, kept in a dark brown mound of "soil" that surrounds it. Each tree has thin branches with over sized, dark green leaves. The flowers are kept in bushes with green leaves that are half the height of each tree, having three levels with purple flowers on the bottom, yellow in the middle, and light red at the top with a mix of white in every level. There are stone seats placed throughout the courtyard of the park.
